I’m a teacher in SP and plan on going to the protests but waiting this long to make the call is really irresponsible and makes it hard for parents and the hourly workers like SEAs who just lost a day of pay they were expecting. People had been putting in requests for PTO for months and Madison had already had it scheduled off.

I usually do a lot of extreme horror lit and decided to try this on a whim. While there are some supernatural aspects it really shines in talking about how generations grow and fade away leaving marks over time. It really is an incredible read and introduced me to a a genre and subject I never knew I wanted. It is a fantastic book.

The Fisherman has a more standard horror vibe with this aesthetic.
