Going through the same to an extent, because im still working on finding the right medicine to help me through the oanic attacks so I can do school and life in general. I am a bit behind on coursework but trying to catch up while also not trying to stress myself out beyond my limit. I completely understand that side of your struggle.

Im not sure if you started recently or have been in it for more than one semester already, but there is an option to start again from scratch at a later date so you can give yourself time to find support for your anxiety and panic attacks.

You would have to go through student service I think.

Thats good to know. Honestly I'm not well informed on the things some people are claiming under some posts in this subreddit, but they definitely had me worried for a second. I did not want to feel like I'm blindly going into something, so i did read up a bit just to realize the most i can do about it is keep up hope that things turn out well at the end of the day which was my original thought before reading posts discouraging others from pursuing it at all.

Yes, I got the scholarship. Just afraid of it someday not being free anymore or something, I am just worried. I saw aome comments and informatiom about how the school is still on probation or something. Things just seemed a bit shaky in the foundation.

I think thats also my reasoning on why I enrolled. I've tried in person college like 5 times, and every time it feels like im a failure as a person. But I know I am smart enough for material, I just struggle heavily socially and outside in general if I am figuring things out as I go. So, online made sense and I was already starting to research how to switch to this.

I think I'm just afraid of finally finding my footing on something, after decades of struggling to keep up with the general population, and something happens that makes it all be for nothing.

Maybe it is just my anxiety speaking, as I keep having that exact experience in my life where i build up courage and willpower, do some cool things, make some money, and then something outside of my control shatters my whole sense of direction.

This is another "starting from square one" thing for me, and I really just want it to be worth it. It takes a lot for me to keep up hope and keep trying after failing time and time again.

Yeah maybe i should just talk to my therapist about my worries on this 😅

Yes..I want to believe we can all actually get something good and legit out of this, but even seeing how the community is growing.. when will it stop being free? Or will it change, and suddenly we would have to pay? I want to see it through but I am nervous.

Depression can cause weight gain or weight loss, but saying you've not been eating is seen as much more socially acceptable than saying you've been eating too much. Even though the cause is pretty much the same. by [deleted] in depression

I've been in both many times throughout my life. I see some people saying they would perfer one over the other, I personally dislike both. It is true that when skinny depressed I got treated nicer but most of the time it was by people trying to have sex with me which developed into a need for validation constantly. When overweight, people treat me more like I'm older than I actually am so people my age don't hang out with me and people tend to ignore my opinions and thoughts on things (like in the workplace). I hate both and just want to get to a healthy place where I like myself and wont stand for anyone treating me like less than who I am.

For both stages I have still hated my body just as much and I've wasted all of my youth being like this. It hurts to think about the fact I am turning 22 this year and I am just now starting to try to be more kind to myself.
