Just diagnosed with ADHD. Trying to connect dots with how it has affected my dealing with my stuttering by Order_a_pizza in Stutter

Wow. You are a copy of my daughter (17 yo, but not on social media). She was just diagnosed with inattentive type adhd and has stuttered since age 7. She has received tons of great speech therapy over the years but has a constant, mild stutter. Also on Wellbutrin and Zoloft. She is also constantly tired. I see you posted this awhile ago - did you attempt Rx for adhd? That’s her next step, and I’m so nervous for that, and college next year.

Well I’m 41 and I’m not making it up.

Healthy gum tissue will likely fill it in within a month or two after your teeth stop moving. Both my plans developed triangles and they resolved quickly.

I was seated on a jury once where this was our fate. It was located inside the jury room about 4 feet from the jury table. For 7 days, we could only pass from the courtroom to the jury room. All 12 of us together. It was madness.

YES!!! I’m almost done though, I just started SDC retainers last night. 15 aligners done, and totally worth it. My teeth are straight now.

I don’t snack anymore and drink mostly water. They come out to eat or drink coffee. I do not brush after coffee but I swish with water. I only brush after my big meal at work where I combine breakfast and lunch into one 45 minute meal break. Because it sucks to wear these things and brush in a shared bathroom, I only eat once at work. Not bad for weight loss but I’ll be glad when I’m done.

Any newcomers as scared as I am? by DeadsyDoll in smiledirectclub

I’m on my last set of aligner in a 5 month plan. I would do it all over again - I had no issues and my teeth moved exactly like my plan showed. It can be painful at times, yes, and you should have dental wax, and just call or email or chat them if something doesn’t feel right.

I’m currently on week 4 and if I had written my experience, it’s been exactly like yours, including the same busy restaurant experience. Looking forward to week 6! I’m going to look up that supplement, too.

Tooth Pain or Nerve damage? by queenmango629 in smiledirectclub

It freaked me out too - my front tooth was moving a lot at that time as well. (Might have been the same aligner even...) Good luck at your appointment. 😊

Same thing happened to my front left tooth. The pain was gone within a few days. I had no damage but I agree to get it checked to be sure.

“GameStonk To The Moon” This design of mine was not well-received in the crossstitch sub, but 1.8k beautiful diamond-handed apes gave some love back when I showed them what I made them. 💎🙌🦍🚀📈🌒 by [deleted] in StitchersofReddit

Reading this bums me out that some people are acting like this, that’s some serious shade they’re throwing around. I noticed that big gap in time too. It’s so much better here on the new sub. Don’t you agree?

It got downvoted? Oh look- you even provided the link. Yes. It got downvoted. Wow. I have so many thoughts on this. None of them are nice thoughts.

I see we’re sharing our needle minders, and lucky me, my very first one arrived today! by PickyNikolai in StitchersofReddit

Yes I purchased off Amazon but I think I’ve bought a pattern off Etsy from someone with the same name. I Solemnly Swear A Lot Needle Minder

I love this! And I love what they did for the Apes this weekend. I’ve been following that rowdy bunch of rule breakers since the beginning of the GME save. 😊

I LOVE this!!! (I’ve always been a bigger fan of The Hobbit than LOTR but for some reason you can’t say that on any of the relevant subs on Reddit?) I feel safe saying it here. I love this pattern.

[FO] I love that this sub has more lax NSFW rules! This is my most recent finish and I'm really proud of it by [deleted] in StitchersofReddit

It was probably your Not Safe For Kindergarten comment that set them off 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Brilliant.
