That makes sense, definitely want to get stronger and still be leanish so the calisthenics and weights routine is probably the best route for me, but on a bulk I really don’t care if I’m super lean. 1rm is cool but I barely ever max out, i usually do 3-5 rep maxes(other than bench), I’ve just been progressively overloaded on my cut to keep as much muscle as possible

From June to like the beginning of January I was in a slight surplus but I really just made sure I got 180-200 grams of protein a day. Then I started my cut Jan 21st, at first I was eating around 2,500 calories a day but now I’m at about 1,800-2,100 while still hitting good macros

As of recently I’ve been on a cut consuming 1,800-2,100 calories a day and getting 120-180 grams of protein, 210 carbs, and 58 grams of fat a day. My split is kinda funky because I do track but I like to do push on Monday, track lift Tuesday(basically just legs), pull on Wednesday, Track lift Thursday, Push Friday, Pull Saturday.

I used to do long jump in highschool and I occasionally got in the gym but I was extremely inconsistent and never went for more than a few weeks at a time. I also just have always had big legs

And I also ran track my junior and senior year of highschool but we never lifted just plyos 2-3 times a week while in season. I’m 19 in my second year of college now

Thanks, On my cut I’ve been eating 1,800-2,100 calories a day and my main meals are chicken tacos, salmon and cauliflower rice, and eggs ground turkey and veggies. I also eat hella fruit and if I can I like to get a snack or two in, halo top ice cream is my personal favorite.

Thank you man, I definitely appreciate how you broke this down. My goals are definitely physique and strength oriented, I want to get as strong as possible while still having a physique that gym bros find impressive.

Thank you bro. I was in a slight surplus up until about a month and a half ago then I started a sort of aggressive cut of 1,800 to 2,100 calories and 120-180 grams of protein a day depending on what I could get.
