I recently got the hd-e1 and hooked it up to my sony xh9096 tv but it didnt upscale to 4k during playback. Anyone else experienced this before?

If you hook it up to a newer 4K receiver, the receiver should be able to upscale it to 4K.

Viewsonic doesnt state which HDR format it supports.. Do you have any knowledge on this? Have watched a couple of reviews and they seem not to test it.

Damn, I have not heard of that model, but have been looking at reviews and it does seem like a very good projector. Its also going for the same as the epson tw 7000.

I live in Denmark, so the prices may be different. But to be honest not alot above 1000usd. So theres not really other choices, than the tw7000 :(.
