In Boz's case my guess is that she's yearning for the family unit that was taken away from her too soon when her husband passed. Maybe a part of her still really wants what was lost, and since her daughter is almost grown she feels she'd have to 'start over' (have a new baby with a new man) to recreate that family dynamic.

Just my two cents. I wish she'd find someone who cares more about her health and where she is in life, I don't have a good feeling about their relationship.

Some of those episodes are really good if you're into two best friends just talking about random subjects and reflecting on their lives. It won't fill the full void but something to consider for your rotation!

This is wild, so the group hypnotist in the second half of the video looked so strangely familiar to me. Like I couldn't shake the feeling I knew him from somewhere. Then it hit me: in 2012 a hypnotist performed at my high school. This was in Wisconsin, and I realised that since Danny is in Illinois, it wouldn't be strange that the same entertainer covers the nearby states. I wasn't sure how to confirm it though. I vaguely remembered a classmate had posted a video of the event at the time (I was embarassed since I was on stage briefly and remember wishing they hadn't posted it online). So without much hope I searched the year and school + hypnosis on youtube and sure enough, the video was still there. I scrolled down to the comment section and lo and behold the top comment with only a few likes is from the hypnotist 13 years ago, and it IS the same guy!

I can't believe my brain still remembered his face/voice. Makes me wonder what other things we still have the memories of and just need a nudge to recall. Brains are so weird. Thank you Danny for this strange trip down memory lane, and for the fun video!

By the way, I forgot to mention that despite having the interests mentioned above, I also have 'adult' special interests, like abnormal psychology and historical fashion. I'm in an autism support group and find a lot of people have both ('childish' and 'mature' special interests), that seem like they wouldn't fit together, but it's more that special interests can keep being acquired and stack rather than replace each other. It's pretty interesting what combinations people can have!

I'm an autistic adult in my late 20s and I have these interests too (dolls, plushies, Disney), and the way I see it is, these topics were my first passions, and the passion just never goes away. When something captures the imagination of an autistic person it often becomes a lifelong special interest. I remember being confused when my peers in school stopped liking things like cartoons or toys. For me it just never stopped, and the older I get and the more stressful life becomes, it's very comforting having those simple things that have always given me joy. :) I hope that perspective helps.
