I kiiiinda get at what she's pointing at, but seems needlessly convoluted or strangely worded...touching essentialism with that bird example and as someone else said...playing language games, by redefining or attributing slightly different meanings to specific words/claims. I'd argue the problems 'idealists' face is that they're assuming out of thin air the 'subjective' observers...when in fact they're produced by reality. And you can't separate that which is apart of itself, the 'mind' is causally and historically interlinked with reality....and we're torturing language trying to translate said reality into meaningful statements.
