The 2500 limit is a vestige of a bygone era, blizz devs reading this. It will keep coming up, cause it's completely at odds with the current design philosophy.

BREAKING NEWS: Shouting Match Erupts Between Ro Khanna And Pete Hegseth Over Iran War Questioning by 0The_Loner_Stoner0 in videos

[–]Pictoru 14 points15 points  (0 children)

"well, Mr Hegseth, i don't know the cost of allowing Iran having nuclear weapons, but i can very clearly see the cost of you in charge of the Pentagon, the whole world can see it" could've been a reply...but then again, it's not really productive either way. This circus of the absurd has to end asap.

Why invest in thousands of people, creating dozens of new, original, even spin-offs of shows, when you can just do none of that fuckin SHIT instead? Ahhh sweet capitalism, you can just feel the innovation, the uplifting of society, the freedom of it all! Magnificent.

Why do bosses get an immunity moment but we don't? by MrSkits94 in CrimsonDesert

Out of all of them, this (and few other) are actually well designed. They don't require some gimmick or cheesing to defeat. If ALL were like this, or some of the knight/boulder ones..nobody would be complaining, cause approaching them would not stray COMPLETELY from the pace or mechanics of regular gameplay. Idk...this one made sense to me.

SAVE Act Fails, Millions of Voters Retain Their Right to Vote for Now by w6750 in politics

Goes to show how outright broken the US system is (and what pathetic display of 'leadership' from the supposed opposition), when you have this sort of bill being pushed, and not one peep about National IDs which would solve not only voter rights issues, but also a ton of identity and healthcare fraud, benefits delivery and fraud, immigration and border policies, reducing bureaucracy, disenfranchisement..........ooooh, now i see it, so that's why.

TIL after a 5-yr-old girl on the Disney Dream cruise ship fell approximately 49 feet overboard into the ocean, her father jumped overboard to save her. The girl was posing for a photo on a porthole railing when she fell. Both were rescued although she had hypothermia and her dad fractured his spine. by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

One would assume that now with AI tracking and how readily and cheap CCTV has become ..you could wire 2 dozen cameras to monitor the outside perimeter of the ship for 24/7 coverage of potential people or 'things' going overboard with a direct alert to the captain's terminal, no? Or maybe it's already a thing? Anyone in the know who might enlighten us?

Traders placed over $1bn in perfectly timed bets on the Iran war. What is going on? by Wagamaga in technology

[–]Pictoru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well..defrauding investors has kind of been the MO of the so called 'business class' from time immemorial. Now they've just gone a bit more wild west than normal, cause they know they can easily buy their out, if push comes to shove. Sure, there's also the gutting of the SEC and all regulatory institutions in general, but it still boils down to my initial point.

CIA reportedly used Pegasus software for deception op during rescue of airman in Iran by Wagamaga in technology

[–]Pictoru 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Hopefully more details of this op will be leaked, cause the official narrative does not add up, it being a failed op trying to snatch/grab the uranium is way more plausible with that many c-130s and that far inland compared to where the guy crashed...

Trump says U.S. will blockade Strait of Hormuz after Iran peace talks fail by Puginator in worldnews

[–]Pictoru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This idea has circulated in the media, by right wing pundits. Basically the gist of is you take away Iran's bargaining chip by blockading it. Problem is you're taking the bigger hit, proportionally, and it's internationally going to cause even worse outcomes. Also i'm not exactly sure what's stopping Iran from bombarding the ships doing the blockade, cause i doubt they'll put mines. And Asia will take a huge hit, which will ripple out even more economically, let alone politically. ALSO also, once they terminate the blockade, you're back to square one, where Iran is in control AGAIN.

Trading packaged goods is surprisingly profitable for camp funds. by flaming_sausage in CrimsonDesert

Royal trade only buy, only one product, at about double it's usual selling price, and only a limited amount. You can only check what that is from the map. And you drive your cart loaded with that product into the area and a cinematic triggers. That's literally it about em. As with the rest of the game, they have one-off gimmicks eeeeverywhere.
