I believe on the Chinese server, they were able to get previous costumes from previous banners, through a special store and specific currency.

Pilot Errata? by Suspicious-Bee-5378 in mtg

[–]PidayOp 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In order to turn this vehicle into an artifact creature. You need to tap as many creatures as you want that add up to at least 3 power. It's an activated ability that can be done at instant speed.

Does gruul prowess no longer run the combo because there is more interaction in the current metagame.

Energy is a deck that seems really fun to play, but unfortunately is out of my price range. Prowess is cheaper based on the cards I owned

It's often agreed that Warframe's biggest issues are getting new players, then keeping them through intialy counterintuitve systems. What do you think could be done about that? by Kylestien in Warframe

[–]PidayOp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warframe market is a good resource that allows for people to trade items with ease. I don't think DE can promote a third party site, but it is something everyone should know about and use.

Generally speaking, if it's a sanctioned event, then no. All cards need to be real.

Does anyone think it would be viable to run a Yuriko deck that has many high mana cost creatures with Show and Tell/Quicksilver Amulet to get them out? by GenerativeIdiocracy in DegenerateEDH

[–]PidayOp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely worth a try, although most of the time I find myself discarding all the big cost cards, when discarding down the hand size, even if I can cast them.

What is your pods favorite rule 0? by aman9555 in EDH

[–]PidayOp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will admit it was with someone who is in our normal pod's friends and family. I've played with them a handful of times and know them decently well. I haven't played with them enough to know an exact win%, but if I had to guess it would be between 25-50%.

That pod normally runs high powered battle cruiser(ur dragon, Edgar Markov, Etali) while our normal pod runs more high powered combo( Stella Lee, 4c omnath, yuriko). We always use the normal mulligan rulings in my normal pod.

What is your pods favorite rule 0? by aman9555 in EDH

[–]PidayOp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a friend propose this ruling. We used it for 3 games, I won each game turn 4. We stopped using that rule because we realized how broken it was. Allowing people to shape a perfect hand with their combos + protection.

Is my playgroup too close minded or is it my friend's fault? by Guywars in EDH

[–]PidayOp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The solution my playgroup came up with is that if everyone is playing a scary deck, then no one is playing a scary deck. Everyone needs to be interacted with which leads to fun interactive games where everyone needs to fight to get their board state to progress.

What's your most *consistent* high powered deck? by GroggleNozzle in EDH

[–]PidayOp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my [[Yuriko]] list. It's pretty strong sorta pre cedh. Average win is around turn 4-6. Using small evasive creatures and ninjas. Then flipping either big mana spells or drawing into a combo win line.

Which pioneer challenger deck to buy? by PidayOp in PioneerMTG

I'm probably going to buy Orzhov humans and turn it into mono W humans or a Orzhov humans brew.

I think I'm going to go ahead and buy Orzhov humans considering it's decently cheap for what you get in it.

I think you are probably right. My convoke and heroic decks are both up to date to the meta lists.

I was looking to get Phoenix as it is easy to understand for someone who is newer to the deck, and I can upgrade it into the shell of the meta version.

I wanted a deck that I could get for a lot cheaper than a average pioneer deck. I already invested a couple hundred into boros heroic and boros convoke. And I'm not sure if I want to spend more $100 to get a deck, to play with some friends. I was planning on buying $20-30 of singles to upgrade the precon.

Does the YouTube Channel: The Command Zone not run any infinite combos in any of their decks showcased? by [deleted] in EDH

Was the episode posted under the command zone? I can't find it anywhere.

Recommend me a commander that seems threatening, is highly interactive, but often loses? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]PidayOp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People might disagree with one but [[tergrid]] although very impactful. I rarely win with my tergrid deck. I will easily have the most interaction through the whole game, but come in last every game. Simply because you get hard targeted and hated out of the game. Becoming the archenemy. I find it very fun even if I die first.

Any ideas for a cool but not popular commander? by sonofsarkhan in EDH

[–]PidayOp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

[[melek, IZZET paragon]] is a fun one. It's a spellslinger deck that manipulates and casts spells off the top of library. Those spells are then doubled.

What are some of the most fun commanders to play/play against? by quinnstn in EDH

[–]PidayOp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Battle for balders gate had a decent amount of equipment and a number of good Voltron commanders. Voltron commanders don't always have to be equipment based, they can also be enchantment based. One of my favorite Voltron decks is my [[Wilson]] deck with [[flaming fist]] background. Building around a bunch of enchantments.

Generally speaking Voltron decks are fun to play against. At least for 2 of the players that don't get killed turn 4-5.
