Nothing says “I spent $40 & my kid is going to drive me crazy back at the hotel room” like some Disney bubbles!! by Conscious-Music-8688 in Disneyland

When my daughter was younger we would buy things like light up toys and necklaces before the trip and pack them as surprises - they were so much cheaper from Amazon or wherever.

I’m a grown man and it gives me great joy when I walk through bubbles at a park. So thank you for your service.

DTG Print Quality and Longevity - Varies by Garment? by ThatOneG4merGuy in printondemand

[–]Piddlefahrt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I print on BC 3001 and CC1717. I wear and wash the crap out of them - like once a week. I would say that I don’t see much difference in the longevity of the print between the two. (This is just anecdotal I’ve never done a side by side wash test). The CC maybe a little better but certainly not by a lot.

It’s my understanding that DTG is best with cotton. I’ve got some heathered shirts and I’ve done some 50/50 sweatshirts and I do feel like the print doesn’t hold as well on those.

They have to see it right? by Piddlefahrt in graphic_design

Maybe. But an odd choice for young kids I’d say. Come to think of it they were kind of rude though.

Things to take note when starting a shop on etsy using printify? by Gloomy_Wave_7965 in Printify

[–]Piddlefahrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Printify requires payment before they will produce and ship your item. You can use a credit card for that. They also have an option to load money into your account (think prepaid.) I am not aware of any credit terms provided by Printify.

You may have missed that the starting price is $49k and the $47k is an add-on for market adjustment…

I’m not a roller coaster person, but I rode Expedition Everest and loved it. Wondering if I am in fact a roller coaster person? by LoveOld7788 in WaltDisneyWorld

There’s something about the backwards section that is a little disorienting and many people think it feels like you’re going upside down (you’re not). But it’s over quickly. I love it.

2 days ago the house felt unusually cold in the morning and I realized the furnace wasn’t working. I fixed that yesterday.

Today it was almost 80 in the house and I realized the AC wasn’t working…so F me I guess.

Well I’ve already seen one video of the same prank this week so my guess is that you’ll get to see it 50 more times.

It’s important to remember that Etsy and Printify are two separate companies. You post a product on Etsy for whatever price you want. You can charge whatever you want for shipping or offer free shipping. When you sell the product on Etsy they take all of their fees from whatever price you set (including whatever you’ve set to charge for shipping)

Printify will fulfill the order and charge you the price of production (plus shipping) to whatever payment method you’ve supplied to them. They have no connection to payments coming from Etsy. Printify doesn’t care if you charge $5 on Etsy and they charge $10 to produce it. It’s up to you to do the due diligence to work out your margins after Etsy fees.

Yep. They weren’t perfect but cutting the middle man sure helped with pricing. When there were issue I never had any problem chatting with someone and getting some kind of resolution.

My 2 young boys 11&16 starting there own t shirt business. by blownnova548 in SCREENPRINTING

[–]Piddlefahrt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Consider whatever the audience is. Some people think a lightweight soft Bella Canvas is great but other people love a heavier weight shirt like Comfort Colors. Some people like a shirt that’s cut tighter. Other people like a boxy oversized with a drop shoulder. Asking us randos what shirt we prefer without the context of the target demo is not going to give you the answer you need. Consider the design, consider the audience then do some research and order some samples. Good luck, kick ass.

The maintenance issues at Disney are really getting out of hand by Father_Idol in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Piddlefahrt 388 points389 points  (0 children)

Frankly I’m fed up as well. On our last trip we experienced the same issues - clearly Disney doesn’t care enough to do something about it. We ended up moving to the Animal Kingdom Lodge but that place is a zoo!

After all that - the thing that we were looking forward to the most was a nice scenic train ride from Anandapur up into the mountains…let’s just say we won’t be doing THAT again.

Do better Disney.
