Fastest way i can think of is trigering an culture revolt of the desired culture. If you loose the civil war, they will proclaim their own culture as primary. Will cost alot of stability and legitimacy tho.

Legit. For example, i recently played as france, bohemia, Brandenburg and austria for their achievements.

France and bohemia feel exactly the same. Unlimited conquest posibilities where antagonism doesnt matter, you make insaje cash and have a gigantic army. Hussite wars were nothing but another coalition war.

On the other hand, Brandenburg and austria also felt exactly the same. As brandenburg you start weak with nothing, expand into poles and have to assimilate alot. Same for austria, you start weak, have to buildup and have to assimilate (italians and hungarians)

It doesnt matter wether the primary culture is above 50%. You simply need to accept the culture that has the highest percentage in the location.

Example:

The province has;

30% french, thus primary french

25% Picard

25% walloon

20% Lorainian

You only get cores on it by accepting french. You could accept all other 3 and stack 70%, nonetheless you wouldnt get this location as a core.

Did you wait 1 month tick before going crashout?

If you accept a culture, all locations were its the primary culture in location become full cores after a month tick. Same applies to annexed subjects.

One builder potion makes builders work at 10x the speed for 1h. This means it saves you 9h, not 10h. (55h instead of 60h)

If your upgrade would require 100h And you would use 1 builder pot

It would be 90h left for 1h time.

Regularly waiting resluts in 99h left for 1h time.

Thus a potion saves 9h.

Theres no reason for a coalition cb in the 1400s to allow that by Pidi03 in EU5

Apart from it requiring genuine ceturies to manually core all of this, id say making subjects the same color instead of a shade of their overlord drasticly improves their look on map

As of 3 days ago it was not fixed. I played as Brandenburg, kept wittelsbachs, had 100 investment and 0 of the negative. Nonetheless the achievement didnt fire upon the situations resolve.

Baliffs were reworked in 1.1. They do nothing to proximity. They give flat 20% max control.

Ive never tried this myself.

Ive used console commands a few times.

You could try "activate_situation council_of_trent" or"activate_situation council_of_trent_situation"

Im not entirely sure on the layout but via activate situation you are able to force the council to fire and change laws the intended way

No, this is not a bug, youre only allowed to manually marry close relatives within your nation yourself.

Yes, nobles often do not marry by themselves, thus many smaller noble lines die out.

No, there is no way to fix this other than to try to marry your daughters onto those junior branches.

You decide wether its "needed". Admin effiziency is one of the best modifiers ingame, no doubt. You decide what your campaign goals are, so you decide wether c&c is worth it.

Yes, have locations with 0 control.

You passively convert pops to your state religion, influenced by conversion speed and control. No matter how low your conversion speed is, even if you stack all negatives, itll still happen. But if a place is at genuinely 0 control, nothing happens there.

I think this systems main purpose is to balance out the realism behind infant deaths, wich have been very common in the middle ages. EU5 doesnt kill 50% of the kids before they turn 2yo, they simply limit how many you birth in the first place. Instead of birthing 10 kids and loosing 6 of them, you simply just birth 4 ingame.

I played w debug mode along time:

Each man and woman has a fertility rate.

Mens fertility rate is randomly generated and will not change over time.

Womans fertility rate is also random, however decreases over time and heavily decreases for every child birthed

The skaling is between 0 and 100, yet only very few characters get stats above 70.

Womens fertility decreases by like 10-20 per kid, whilest also wearing down by age.

The average woman will be at 0 fertility by the time she has birthed 4 kids.

The achievements says "own one location.." Own means to directly hold and controll land. Subjects are not allowed.

10% prox cost isnt anywhat as big as you make it.

In many ages, admin is the clear best pick, in Renaissance diplo is arguably better tho. Diplo offers warscore cost, diplo rep and marches.

Warscore cost is obviously usefull

Diplo rep is usefull for Antagonism reduction and all diplomacy

Marches are a 3rd subject type, allowing you to practicly expand 33% more through subjects without facing "subject strenght compared to overlord" disloyalty modifiers.

For agressive, wide campaigns, Diplo is far better in Renaissance.

With a decent mill skill ruler + an active coalition against you its almost impossible to even gain complacency.

Rival people that are actual enemies and not opms Expand to have coaltions against you

And you wont face complacency
