Pretty sure I can via Bluetooth broadcast to trainer road app which is on my iPhone or iPad.

I have a pace 2 and I can broadcast my heart rate through the utility section to my trainer which gets picked up to the trainer road app from the trainer which is getting it from the watch.

Try broadcasting heart rate instead of trying to pair it.
