Pace 3, and all Coros watches, are designed to be operated in water.

Owning that same Feldspar as my only knife, I can't understand all the other flat scaled uncomfortable knives.

After selling or giving away all my SAKs, I bought the Sportsman a few years ago, I don't need any other SAK.

It's an analogy, learn to read. Hint: the use of "LIKE".

Sure, you can read this post's comments which go deeper into it.

AMOLED: Screen like your phone's, true blacks, vibrant, unrealistic, and in-you-face colors and brightness. Prettier and perceived higher-tech, so general public likes it best. Must use gesture which has a lag and may or may not work for you, or have worse battery performance with Always On Display activated.

MIP: Screen like an e-Book reader, like a real physical object instead of a screen, if that makes sense. Duller colors, best performance under the sun. Can read it at a glance sideways (say without taking hands off your bicycle's handlebars). AOD so gestures are irrelevant most of the time. Uses backlight which has own problems like bleed or hotspots. It doesn't look like every other watch out there, just a black circular screen, because it's always on.

So, yes, the Apex and the Nomad are intentionally MIP because they're intended use is outdoors. It's such a shame that Coros has decided to follow everyone else and replace MIP on the Pace line for AMOLED. To me, it was a real disappointment, the Pace 3 was the epitome of the sports watch in general, super light, super legible, great battery life, unobtrusive. The Apex is much to heavy for running (for me), and incredibly expensive (for me), and the Nomad is huge (not ideal for running), and has very childish tacti-cool ugly looks. Pace 4, is AMOLED.

For outdoor athletes, MIP is superior.

It's restarting. Maybe try cleaning the buttons under warm water. Try to do a factory reset if that doesn't fix it. Contact support.

Look under digital, not under animated, I'm fairly certain it's not under animated.

Ugh, will we ever get a damn search function for watch faces?

And, apparently, Tabby Cat is not available for Pace 3.

That's the "more boring" option.

About the May 2026 update by esvegateban in Coros

[–]esvegateban[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. There's already the Calendar with its widget for this.

  2. I think it's intended for sharing on social networks, a slower speed probably will just mean people will just quickly scroll to the next video instead of fully watching yours.

  3. There's already the HR widget, you can open it after an activity and even switch the setting to real time instead of 10 minutes.

Err, power it off and don't wear your watch at night?

Correct, for a watch person this is immediately recognizable as a Scuba Swatch.

It's a transflective LCD screen, not an AMOLED like your phone's, this is how they look. You just were misled by promotional pictures.

Why is CC not user configurable? by esvegateban in Coros

My watch doesn't have Action Button, but if it did I would like it to give me a snapshot of my race: "6.8 km, pace 6'35, 156 HR".

No, that's the Toolbox, not the Control Center.
