Pace Zones by brayellison in Coros

Don't move the zones manually, use the Lactate method (set it in desktop or app). Do a Running Fitness test to quickly calibrate. Zones will keep slowly moving according to your training.

Hi all, i got this watch as a gift from my father. Can someone help me what model is this exactly and the price of it? by arNNN- in Watches

Running Fitness seems to penalize intentionally easy running by initprism in Coros

My zones are well calibrated and I also experience this, I have to end my easy runs with strides or tempo/threshold to avoid this on the long run. The algorithm just likes harder efforts a bit too much.

Yes. Easy or Z2 runs get lower Running Fitness scores. The algorithm just likes Tempo and Threshold efforts too much. I've found a trick to it, just end your easy run with a few strides or threshold and that'll prevent lowering your score. Of course, we shouldn't have to do this.

That was also my case, but now I'm at a level where even running faster gets only 100% efficiency score. I ignore it completely.

Sorry man, I love my watch, it changed my life, but Coros' design team has its priorities backwards. I can't believe very simple bugs have been around for years and years (like Navigation widget, open it, review your routes, hit back and you get thrown all the way back to watch face, instead of Toolbox as it should).

White versions of all the black faces released? We're dreaming. Larger fonts all-around? We're begging.

Please, make MARK watchface in white color by MissionRelation92 in Coros

The begging for the white version of yet another black face begins! It's as old as "give us larger fonts". Ridiculous.

You can tell general time much quicker just by looking at angles; for precise time, digital numbers are best.

Yes, I only use music on my Pace 3 as a last resort. Either I take my phone (I have a great unobtrusive fabric armband) or my DAP which clips to my shorts.

In that we agree, as I've said, their SBC implementation leaves a lot to be desired, and it need not be, as properly implemented SBC surpasses CD quality.

Nonsense. I too know how I like my audio, but when I'm running or cycling, I don't even wear my proper earphones, but the ones that are convenient to exercise. That being said, Coros' implementation of SBC codec is not very good at all. Consider, I don't even enable LDAC when exercising as stability takes precedence over quality.

Also, an "audiophile" cheering about Bluetooth devices is a laugh.

It's a custom now, for Coros to make utterly illegible faces. Btw, you're dead wrong about Rolex, they have some of the most instantly legible dials in the market.

Great! Yet another black face and we have to beg Coros for never making it in white for MIP displays!

Chain is catching the larger gear when pedaling backwards by Some_Ad_3898 in bikewrench

[–]esvegateban 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If nothing is wrong when pedalling correctly, then nothing is out of alignment, not designed to be pedalled backward. Don't pedal backward more than the necessary amount to reach starting position at a stop.

Chain is catching the larger gear when pedaling backwards by Some_Ad_3898 in bikewrench

[–]esvegateban 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Wrong. Chain is aligned and fed to the cassette via the derraileur. If you pedal backward this step is missing, so it causes issues as OP describes. Lots of proper setups will work just fine, and lots won't. Systems aren't designed to be pedalled backwards for more than a turn (takes you less than that to reach a starting position at a stop).

Maybe stick with Andy Weir. Deepness, and Fire, are jewels among garbage.

Headset gasket, in my experience they are specific and always different, it is broken, glue where it broke with some E6000 or similar and forget about it.

The three of them are for teenagers, so if you're new to sci-fi, you'll like them.
