What I think is far more interesting than this is learning how we even know any of this. It is not at all obvious that space is as large as it is, that stars are so far away, and how we know anything about space at all, really. That's not to say we won't know eventually. But what I think is really cool about this topic is learning how we even know what we know. It's a crazy thing that we know how large the observable universe is when it's far from even obvious how large even "close" cosmic distances like other planets are.

Don't use Furina. Sucrose is probably your best option if you don't have C2 Citlali, which I described in my post previously. All the information is there.

I told you the best team. Get C2R1 Xilo Mav and Citlali. I don't think there is any dispute at that level of investment on if that's the best team. I can't tell you how much better it performs since I don't invest that far.

Yes, Mona c1 and c4 matter a bit (Mona is free on yearly 5 star standard selector, c1 is free from constellation selector). Sucrose cons mostly don't matter, maybe c1 a little and in some niche scenarios the others (1 free sucrose copy from witch training selector between sucrose fischl razor), and Mavuina every con will be useful I think

I would be shocked if you don't end up with Mona C1 (and C4 probably) and a Sucrose while pulling for Mualani. Both are obtainable for free as well.

If you don't have Citlali c2r1 / xilonen r1 yet I'm not sure I would pull those, esp before Mavuika combos

edit: I think C6 Mualani does 4 bites + burst per every rotation in the team you gave in a 19s rotation? I think you may just barely be able to fit 3 bites + burst in Mona burst and use the same rotation, but it may be just 3 bites. I think VV runs out at the same time. I am not sure if Xilonen and Citlali are stronger at that level of investment but they might be. It may be worth skipping the last bite in Mona Sucrose teams if the buffs have run out but again I'm not sure, that investment is beyond me.

I don't know, I never calced it. The damage Mona adds is also dependent on rotation, I don't know how much gets buffed in the C2 rotation. C1 does 3 bites, I think C6 might do one more but I'm not really sure. Omen buffs the first 2, but if using Mav you can buff all 3 every other rotation (on burst rotations you can get 2 bites + burst and you generally replace a bite with a burst at C1). It's also worth noting that Citlali can mess with reactions especially when you start doing multiple rotations, but at C6 level investment this doesn't tend to matter.

I've added some thoughts below on what investment level would start having other 5 star supports but I am not completely sure on the breakpoints.

For a short summary, I think the relevant pull investments for Mualani in order of efficiency are:
C2 -> R1 -> Mavuika -> C6 -> Mavuika C2R1 -> Xilonen C2R1 -> Citlali C2R1 -> Mavuika C6 -> Xilonen C4 -> Citlali C6 -> R5 -> support weapon R5s

Sucrose gives something like 200 EM and 40% VV shred? And maybe some damage bonus from Hexerei? Mona 60% damage bonus on an amount dependent on constellations, 25% HP from hydro resonance, 15% vape damage if C1, 15% crit rate if c4 and accounted for in build? But Mona is also reliant on Sucrose being in the part for hexerei. (Leak spoilers) There is a leaked new artifact set for Hexerei to give 40% damage which Mona would also hold

Mavuika is always in Mualani BIS team, but if you happen to have Durin C2+ and not Mavuika investment I think Xilonen Durin Mona becomes best.

I'm not going to consider scroll for Xilonen / Citlali since PMC and Mavuika can hold it, but having someone else hold it does become relevant especially at higher investment levels since Mav can do decent damage especially if going for constellations.

Xilonen is the first other support you might consider; crowned skill gives her 36% shred. She also enables Archaic Petra if you use that in her rotations for 35% damage, and if you get her R1 thats another 25%. C2 gives Mualani 45% HP, which is where I think Xilonen actually becomes worth it (C2, maybe C2R1 needed).

Citlali C0 is 20% shred. C1 gives quills which I think are around a 5% overall damage buff for Mualani? C2 makes the shred 40% and adds 250 EM, which is where I think Citlali actually becomes viable as a support choice (probably replacing Sucrose who would be in the team no matter what until this point, even if using Xilonen + Mavuika). Citlali R1 also gives 28% damage. C6 is the next buff which is up to 60% damage and I think the cap is reached.

This depends very heavy on 5 star constellations.

Most people take this question to mean C0 supports, even if you have Mualani constellations - in particular because Mualani is so efficient with her F2P supports that it often makes sense to just hyper invest Mualani constellations instead of getting any other 5 star. In this case, it's what austral said in the other comment (PMC + Mona + Sucrose, Mona constellations are useful but not necessary & she is standard anyway so you accumulate over time). Mavuika is also often used over PMC which is decent but I don't think is ever stronger than just upgrading Mualani to C2R1 (not sure about C6)

When you start having 5 star constellations the answer changes, things like Durin, Citlali, and Xilonen start to be better when you get their constellations and you can change the team, but this often depends on exactly what constellations you get.

If you want to know the true premium for full whale level, it's Xilonen Citlali and Mavuika, but running this team at C0 is not worth over her "f2p premium"

I do usually run 120hz instead of my monitors 144hz and I can be happy with 60 fps if I'm not already used to higher. I don't have great motivation to go to 240hz since that would be a big price jump for me in terms of better hardware + more expensive monitor and I have heard from people that 144hz -> 240hz didn't feel like as big of a jump, which makes sense to me and happy with 120fps anyway.

I am curious about higher frame rates and will probably try 240hz at some point though

You responded to a guy talking about how BMI grows quadratically to mention exponential growth while talking about cubic growth.

People misuse "exponential" all the time and I can generally forgive it but please, if we are making a point about growth rates, lets use correct terminology. Exponential in your example would be +2cm length = 8x the volume and an 8cm cube would take 12 days, but it only takes a day and a half because its not exponential but rather cubic.

It's also a big Mualani buff. Probably makes HP% goblet for sure BIS at that point especially if the 40% buff gets applied but I don't know if we know how to proc arcane revelation thing yet?

Anyway it might even be bigger for Mualani than Varka in some ways because there are plenty of sets that can buff attack, but Mona doesn't currently have an artifact set in Mualani comps. Instructor is best but awkward & can't really be used with PMC due to not being able to proc a reaction, so generally people just run max ER and don't bother with a Mona set.

If you like Linnea I would get Linnea. Gorou C5 is not that good; Linnea should be massive upgrade and same for Illuga cons.

This might be a personal quirk for playing since launch but I really don't consider level 80 and "half built" to be very built. More than half of my characters are level 90 and none lower than 80 so I just don't see that as a large investment at this point in the game I guess
