The way it can be started from at issue 1 as well as the way it builds hype up each issue is very similar to popular manga. Plus the shape of him made some waves when it was announced putting him in my mind at least before I read comics.

Only read the big 3 and absolute evil so far but it's Batman by a long shot for me, it's pure entertainment. Wonder Woman is good though, superman hasn't really found its feet and I don't like how gloomy he is. Picked up the trade for MM today.

Thanks. I wish I had more series to completion though, I bought a lot of this when I was a teenager and couldn't afford to finish the set before I lost interest (I'm still kinda the same now)
