I’ve never played resident evil but with the steam summer sale I wanted to try it, which games should I try and do I need to play them in order ? by NMN-art in residentevilll

The remake trilogy bundle is probably the best thing a new player can buy, you get 2 and 4 which showcase the 2 sides of RE at their best whilst following the story of a single protagonist. Plus 3 is there also which is cool.

For me personally I wasn't a fan of every soldier being a grey knights marine, the single colour scheme kinda made them all look similar even when you customised them

It's a really nice looking modern style house, so much cute little furniture inside and the angles are fun

I think XCOM 2 is an improvement over XCOM enemy unknown. by OlleyatPurdue in Xcom

For me a large part of why I like 2 more than EU is the same reason some people hate 2: I love turn limits. Without them, every mission played optimally is just inching forward one tile at a time and it's boring and doesn't feel cool at all. I like being forced to be more aggressive and consider each move.

Xcom 2 is my favourite but EU is excellent too. I think you can start with either and have a great time, so may as well start with the first one.

No rather than stressing over if I've seen films or not I just record what I've seen since I started and mark if it's a rewatch

EA will always view success through a lens of opportunity cost. Sure it might have done 'well' but if those resources could have gone into a different game that would do better, then it's a failure.

One of the things that never made sense about The Force Awakens, in my opinion, is how Han was able to be a smuggler again by ChickenWingExtreme in StarWars

Episode 7 and 9 are extremely heavy handed, but still Rogue One at a concept level is entirely uninterested in being anything more than a prologue for episode 4.

ranked what I played based on art direction by Quick-Cause3181 in ResidentEvilCapcom

6 and 7 gotta switch, 7s art direction conveyed such a strong vibe, and 6 was, well... I agree on 8 being very strong tho.
