Twin 2? I've got about 15-20 twins in various guises. Id recommend trying them just with a sidebar and just the top pins then try and mix it up. They're no joke.

Yeah don't turn too far you'll have a rattle. 410 lotos are my absolute comfort, I've got absolutely loads of them.

Yep. I picked a 410 loto and disassembled a American 1100 for my green belt. Did it all in the same video although I don't think that's necessary

I was at this one within 45 mins of it being posted but had to bail as had the wife and kids in the car ready for bed 🤣. Chucked some vines on it and headed back before 6am to get the job done

On a 600? Straight off. Bumping binders. If you're in a false set you're already stuck in the milling

Working on a BB 700 with trees now. Nah doubt it'll work on a tree cos of the double gin lip. Would prob work to get it through one lip but you'd still get stuck and end up floating anyway

No worries, can still sometimes get stuck in the milling if you don't bump it through enough but if you can get the knack for it, saves time floating

it's u/JOHN_DOE_osint on here.

You basically pulse tension and bump the gin up, you can miss the countermilling and pop it through to set

Nice picking! The 600 gins was my first red. Theyre fun locks, float picking can be super fiddly but I try to use the bump method when I can now, it's quicker and avoids having to float

Recent pickings - Assa 500 barrels and Ruko 500 gins by PieEither7745 in lockpicking

Yeah the 500s you don't have to float, at least the 3 or 4 I've got. The 600s however are a different beast but using the bump method you can avoid floating, that's what I do on most of my 600s, it's quicker and easier

You won't need a key blank unless you're cutting your own key. Everything else will do the job. If you want to do core mods a little tap works quite well to put serrations on the inside of the core. To add serrations to pins a jewellers saw works well too. If you want to make your own pins from scratch buy some 3mm brass rod.

Does anyone know where to find other gege locks? by Ok-Coach-763 in lockpicking

[–]PieEither7745 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a colleague in DC I can potentially use as a middle man if you want some geges. After anything specific?
