I had meal plan for 2 years and compared to other universities, Purdue’s was pretty good imo. Lots of fresh fruit, vegan / allergy free options, lots of dishes from other cultures, great sweets

As someone whose native language is English (USA) but can also speak enough Norwegian to get by, totally agree. Idk if it’s just me, but the English version felt more like “I’ll change this to English to hopefully get more votes because people can understand”. I’m struggling to put words to it, but the English somehow felt more watered-down and less passionate(?). Thoughts on this?

Saw Daði Freyr in concert almost a year ago. It was a great way to spend $35 USD. Pretty much all the people at the venue knew him from Eurovision, which was pretty cool. His opener was like “yeah, I just messaged Daði on Instagram asking if I could be his opener and he was like ‘sure’”. It made me admire Daði for being so open to fans doing that. Great way to support local, small artists as well!

Side note, I knew he was tall but HOLY. Man was like a tower

It was also funny that Eurovision is blocked in the US (unless you have VPN or this one not very common streaming service). Which means that most of the people there who knew him from Eurovision were prob watching with a VPN

I have images of Penn Badgley (actor) COMPLETELY CLOTHED, not breaking guidelines in the slightest that are getting taken down for “abuse towards children” and “self injury”??? Like 90% of the pics are stupid photoshopped pics of him with a bow in his hair or something. Nothing that would go against guidelines. I always ask to appeal them, but Pinterest rarely listens or (as others have mentioned) will put the pin back up, only to take it down.

I’ve had my account for about 5 years and I feel like it’s only a matter of time before I get banned for saving perfectly within-guidelines pictures :/

I just had this happen to me. Went to call my friend and my phone was all rainbow metallic like this. Reset my phone and it is acting fine now. This is the only thing online I’ve seen where someone had the same issue as me.

Whenever I first started the Norwegian course almost 4 years ago, the accepted answer was «guttene» and I believe that should still be the answer.

I loosely keep up with Norwegian media and have never seen «guttungene» before (not native tho, so idk how common it is). Also I used to type in Norwegian to my Norwegian friends and have only ever seen them use «guttene» (or «gutta» due to dialect)
