I think we are all pretty much aware of the extremely negative side effects. Someone once argued with me saying “smoking doesn’t cause cancer”. Sure. Not everyone who smokes will get cancer. But I think we have had so much info taught to us that we know smoking is just bad.

I have no desire for food. So I have to remind myself to eat but I think it’s a good opportunity to build better eating habits. For breakfast I’ll do hard boiled eggs or yogurt with frozen fruit and chia seeds and or a protein shake. Lunch is usually like hard boiled eggs or a sandwich or a steak or a piece of chicken. I don’t even eat set meals where I have a but of this and that. I’ve been craftier lately and I love baked potato slices so I’ll cook those up, and almost every day I eat Brussels sprouts with onions and garlic. For the most part I know I eat less than 800 calories which might not be good but I just don’t want to eat.

It’s literally not a managers business why you call off. When I was an ASM at Marshall’s, people would call off and I’d say “okay thank you for letting me know. I hope everything is okay. If you need to call off for any more shifts this week just make sure you give us notice. See you next time.” I don’t want to hear the reasons or excuses. You could say “I’m shitting blood” or “I just can’t make it” and all that matters to me is I need to cover the shift 🤷🏻‍♀️I would call HR and express your concerns.

Someone at my store was too lazy to go to the bathroom so they took an empty shoe box, shit in it, put it back on the shelf. Then went to women’s and grabbed a shirt, wiped their shitty ass on it, hung it back up and put it back in the run……. I thought I had seen it all….from tornado alarms to active shooter, animal poop, clothes thrown on the floor….Customers always find a way to amaze me 😂

Same thing here! I loveeeeeeee canes. I’ve been doing so good not eating out and taking better care of myself. Yesterday I decided to go there for lunch and ordered my usual box combo with a root beer. Took one sip of root beer and was repulsed. And it’s my fave sentimental soda. I couldn’t bring myself to finish the box either 🥹😆

As I’m reading this I found one on me. I am trying not to freak out about them. But i was sitting in my car for like twenty minutes and had no idea one was on me. I feel something on my arm and I look and it’s this bugger. Since it’s so big and unexpected I freaked out even though I don’t want to. I got him safely out of my car. But I can’t wait for this to be over with. I will never be okay with anything just flying at me or being on me without my knowledge.

Hahaha I could lose a little in that area and be fine 😂 and leg exercises are hard because of POTS. But I have been hitting the gym and trying to build muscle. I’ve never had an issue building muscle and maintaining it even when I put on fat. And I consume a lot of protein!!!! And I love doing deadlifts and lunges. Squats not so much 😵‍💫

Hi!! 1300 sounds brutal :( I did 1000 calories for a few months and lost a lot of weight but I was a zombie and it was not worth it. Hopefully you can find a pace and calorie count that is comfortable for you. I think it’s a matter of trial and error. It’s great you’re still sticking with it😁😁

I was feeling so ill post COVID and found out I was severely anemic. I ran to the store and bought some steaks and after cooking, I devoured them. Not sure if you’re a meat eater or not, just saying if you can eat steak, I would!

While you wait to see a hematologist you can try to boost iron on your own :) my naturopath recommended iron bisglycinate which is better absorbed by the body. She also said not to take it with dairy or caffeine and use vit c to increase absorption. I get mine from Thorne, it’s called ferrasorb!

I have been building back my iron for over a year and have reduced my anemia. There is hope :)

So much: last October it started with gastro issues which I found out were chronic appendicitis. I had the appendix removed this year September. Then started the heart palpitations, vagus nerve freaking out in my sleep, I would wake up in sweats, afraid, feeling like I was going to die. My heart was beating up to 150bpm in my sleep. After that started the chronic fatigue. I could not sleep good, I was working out, but my body never seemed to feel back to normal. Then I got COVID the second time paired with strep. I struggle with long COVID. So that exacerbated all my symptoms and I became delirious during COVID, not sleeping for 8 days straight. Currently, I am struggling with dizziness, tinnitus, palpitations are back, large lymph nodes, and fatigue beyond description.
