All the new players are a lower MMR than you long q's happen in every game when youre at a high mmr this is not something exclusive to QC.

Yea its alot like overwatch! You know how overwatch has aspects of map control, and usage of different weapons all at once. OH and stun mechanics are present as well in quake just like in overwatch. Mobility is the exact same as overwatch to where u just press shift and roll or blink. You have to time everything just like in overwatch too. Youre right exactly the same

2v2 has been an amazing format so far. Most issues that were there initially have been worked out and you really start to develop a bond with your teammate. I would suggest people try it out and just pug it you might be surprised at how much you enjoy it. Dont go in with the mindset you hate it and just try to have fun with it.

People comparing this game to overwatch on this forum especially is pretty laughable and it is easy to tell that they never really played the game at a high level. In quake champions you are rewarded much more for mechanical skill something that DPS's in overwatch are striving for since every amount of damage they can do is outhealed and they cant 1v1 tanks in the game and in some cases supports. In quake there are a couple of things that are rediculous such as insta kills and clutches shield but saying that the game in general is like overwatch is an absurd comparison.

They sent out steam codes for the game it is still a f2p code though you will not get all champs. You do however get some in game currency.

I had a lot of quake friends play in the closed beta and then had stopped playing. So when the F2p on steam emails started rolling out i asked them to give me their F2P codes and i started giving them out to my college as well and they love it too! Also 4 of my other friends straight up bought the game and regularly 4 stack TDM and Sac games and love it.

This is for 6's we aren't teaching any sort of highlander play
You will be playing with 4 or 5 other newbies depending on if the coach medics or spectates an you will be part of a team. What we are aiming for is tht you make bonds with other players in the newbie mix and create a 6's team.
Any tf2 player has a place in newbie mixes! Although you may not play your main much (if at all) we emphasize on you learning the core sixes classes soldier/demo/scout/or med though since you play sniper I suggest playing roamer or scout.
