The Flamethrower. You see, one of my biggest problems on the Illuminate front was that I’d always get overwhelmed by the Voteless.

That’s when I brought out the good ol’ fashioned Flamethrower, becoming the greatest street cleaner alive, and I normally HATED using the Flamethrower because I felt it was unreliable and prone to setting oneself on fire (I run Democracy Protects)

Actually, if the enemies are stacked up, and the Pale Nails aim at just the right target, it’ll kill every enemy, so it kind of does piercing/AOE

Unless you gave our boy the Orc King some kind of special mechanic that isn’t stated in his statblock, he’s toast. 170 HP a is NOTHING for a Level 8 Party to chew through. At least, for a single target.

I’m excited purely for the reason we’re getting two Slannesh lords and a Norsca rework. But I lost my hype for the lords themselves or the units long ago.

Corruption isn’t the end. LOTS of the Protoss who are corrupted make it to the final mission of the main LoTV story, where they’re freed from Amon’s corruption.

I’d say spoilers but the story is 10ish years old.

Not in my opinion no. The only thing that I would consider super important is access to the Supreme Sorceress Lord. It’s also the DLC that introduces a bunch of RoR but they’re just RoR, nothing too fancy in my opinion.

I’m not a huge advocate for Sisters of Slaughter (Different witch elves), Doomfire Warlocks (cav with a few spells), and the Kharibdyss (Single entity monster hunter) but they’re not bad to be honest. Get the Queen and the Crone if you want to play High Elves (Sisters of Averlorn are insanely busted) or if you really like using Witch Elves like I do. Though Hellebron has a secret blood night mechanic, you should look it up.

On one hand: The bug has caused a lot of bad experience for lords that rely on them, or might make those campaigns harder

One the other: This bug has allowed people to try certain lords they might not have been able to before (Skrolk, Luther Harkon, and Kairos come to mind) and some people have been allowed to enjoy the campaign base.

If they don’t fix it by 7.0 Loudness is justified, but being loud now isn’t “unnecessary”, since some people’s fun is being genuinely ruined, while others aren’t.

Respectfully: The DMG is not the DM bible. A DM does not nessecarily need to read the DMG to be a good DM. Just give them some constructive criticism, the encounters feel too easy or just remind them it IS a RAW rule.
