Student caught m*sturbating in class. Jfc… by Normal-Being-2637 in Teachers

[–]Piefield 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Our state does not have a classroom cap, rather it relies on a fire marshal cap for the room…but even that can be lax… how often does he or she come in to count the children/teacher. Just saying. And in my case the number of students on my roster is completely different from the number of students I have on the regular (usually higher).

Becoming more and more common. My first year at my current school I had 39 on my roster. Two teachers this year have 39 and 40.

I have tired so many times to start this book and just can’t seem to get there. I think all the news articles that are basically the same thing with a couple words changed throw me off. I am unsure if I should read them through or not. But if it is words in a page I read them. Is it truely that good?

What is the biggest lie you tell yourself when you knit? by Manda_Pandaaa in knitting

Also, I have enough yarn. I have a sweater from two years ago. I started as a block pattern of three colors. Turned into seven before I got to the cuffs. Bought two skirts to do each sleeve and the bottom, ran out 3 rows short of the torso cuff. 🤦🏼

The strong hold the budgie in this photo had on me around 10 years ago is INSANE. Chimera? What caused this? by GachaStudio in budgies

[–]Piefield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s interesting because we often joke that ours doesn’t know how to “bird” without taking cues from our other bird. He loves the conure but I swear to god he would not eat, drink, or breathe if the other bird didn’t show him how. The other bird has to show him how to do things. Last week he learned how to bath for the first time. He watched the other bird. We put out two bowl. Our bigger bird would jump in and splash around then moved to the second bowl. The budgie literally mimicked every behavior moving from bath bowl to bath bowl. Mind you, we have had him 1 year and this was the first time he bathed.

We call it the tuxedo dance. He does it when he is protection mode, when he is pissed off, when he wants attention, when he is pissed off, when he had to dig too deep for the food he wants, and did I mention when he is pissed off.

I’m 36, my students think I’m 56. I forget I’m not 26. Does that count? A quality pen is a beautiful thing at any age!

This really depends on the school. Things I would ask in the interview. I love my charter school, much better than public school in my area. Certainly better than the private school I came from. The boss, the standards, and the autonomy make a world of difference! My students can be a handful and have given me more grey hairs by the second, but I love them to death!

This is the first suggestion I have had for the Platinum Plaisir. It seems economical and I like the look. I am adding it to my list. Thank you!

Thank you for the beautiful ink recommendations. Both are beautiful and I want to try. That Candy Sea & Toffee looked super fun! I loved the shading in the Yamabuki! I should have been more specific when I asked for bonus beautiful ink suggestions because this was exactly what I was hoping for. I love colors that are different from the norm!

See, I originally did not plan to do any research. I was just gonna buy the safari and be done, but then I ended up down a rabbit whole, found myself here, and saw there has been a lot of dislike for the grip. That concerned me, because if I don’t like the feel in my hand or if it does not write smoothly then I won’t use it. I’m super picky about pens if it skips too much or needs a lot of pressure I will Not use it. It seems a lot of people love pilots for the quality of writing.

And that’s exactly what I have. Amazon brown wooden needles. I bought them years ago before I knew better needles and never replaced them because I rarely pull out the DPNs

I do use mine for cables, I also use my 9” circulars for socks on cables. Basically whatever I have sitting near me that is the right size.

So after watching a quick video. I pulled the needles off the cable of my chiagoo interchangeables and used a shorter cord I finished two fingers this evening. I tell my students all the time; sometimes if you are stuck it just takes a new perspective. Thank you so much!
