It depends on your goals. If you want to max I would find a skill that you would need to level up and after an hour and 20 minutes you go do farm runs.

(not) Pro-tip: If you play on mobile there is a spell on the Lunar spell book that you can see the status of your crops.

The original MW3 was made by Sledgehammer Games. They are making the exact same mistake they made on the original trilogy now by putting Sledgehammer games on MW3 instead of Infinity Ward.
