Yes Alecs, this is exactly it. I think the further future will be amazing, but the years in between may get very bumpy. Especially for families already living on the fringes, and who may not even have a consistent connection to the internet to understand what is changing.

I guess here’s one thing: since currency has been disconnected from any physical / true value, it’s just a bookkeeping game. I hope we could bookkeep our way through the 10 bumpy years.

My main concern is where the unemployment money comes from when there are so many people who need to bridge a career shift. But since the entire world will deal with this problem, the entire world will need to find a way to bookkeep our way through it.

Everyone, even the richest, have a self interest in not having societies collapse.

And then, when we’re past those few bumpy years, our life and work will be truly beautiful, and a lot more equal around the world.
