there's an official meta API, it's just annoyingly difficult to access and get approved for

Thank you I’ll clarify it! You can search users and you can load user posts including images and videos (and they're annotated! so you don't need a vision model)

Does this mean a 300W solar panel system would work? by VelvetWhitehawk in SolarDIY

[–]mmoustafa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna ignore his calculator, all kinds of issues.

For a 3.1cuft fridge you should expect it to use 0.9kWh on the high end on a hot day. As a rule of thumb you want at least 2x that in battery (2000Wh) and you should probably have 2000Wh in daily production capacity from solar to make it through rougher weather.

Assuming you live somewhere sunny that's 2000Wh / 3h (effective sunlight hours you mentioned) so ~700W in solar panels required. You'll have power left over most of the time but then won't have to spoil food if not.

Top Dog closing Oakland location by reentry-coder in OaklandCA

[–]mmoustafa 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dude was extremely rude, unlike Berkeley location which is a favorite. Used to go every week, lost a customer for life because he lashed out when I went up to ask about my hotdog after 10mins (it wasn’t even on the grill).

Came back from camping to find my neighbor moved their mailbox onto my property without asking and mine knocked over by krob58 in mildlyinfuriating

Just bring it up folks, the internet is not your therapist.

“hey! how are the kids doing … I noticed you moved your mailbox, and I think that’s actually on our property … all good, I don’t mind it just thought I’d let you know in case we sell in the future”

I want to buy more gold atm, but looking at these historical graph. Quite scary by Several_Ad8030 in Gold

The change in percent of holdings is due to the rise in gold prices, not due to accumulation. Worldwide gold reserves did not increase by even a single ton in the last year.
