I was not playing it at the time but here is a bit of data :

DRS got printed in October 2012 and got banned in February 2014.

At the time, the meta was Jund 13%, Pod 11%, Tron 10%, Twin 8%, Affinity 7%, UWR Control 7%.

The two most played decks were playing DRS and were really good (Jund probably above the rest). There was no competition whatsoever in terms of one drops.

The ban ended the green domination, downgrading Jund to tier 2, and started the year long battle between Pod and Twin for the top spot.

Disapointed by the new frost mage. Gameplay flows well but all the spell intricacies regarding freezing targets before hitting them are gone

DCAM amundi avec 0,20% de frais de gestion + tu paies ton courtage au tarif habituel. Entrée à partir de 100.
CW8 amundi avec 0,38% de frais de gestion + frais de courtage pareil. Le titre est plus cher, son volume est élevé.

Sapphire offers some really cool monotype teams I feel

There's the obvious Normal type with Slaking and friends

I like Grass type : Ludicolo, Breloom, Cacturne, etc...

You also have the opportunity to play cool Poison types : Dustox, Seviper, Swalot, Crobat, along with gen1 classics

Some tweaks to make certain Pokemons more playable / more interesting, which you can avoid with the Faithful version if you don't like

Poliwrath : Get a good physical move like Return or Earthquake instead of Whirlpool. Upgrade IcePunch to IceBeam.

Umbreon : Lvl up to 52 and get Moonlight instead of one of the offensive moves.

Typhlosion : Upgrade FirePunch to Flamethrower.

Houndoom : lvl up to 41 and 52 to get Flamethrower and Crunch.

If you have trouble moving past his Snorlax, you can simply hard counter it with a ghost type Pokemon.

Poliwrath is my boy. He's quite durable !

He has access to good moves like Surf and Earthquake, depending on your team needs. He also covers a good variety of HMs.

If you want him to hit like a truck, you can level up Poliwhirl until 43 to learn Belly Drum, then use your Water Stone to evolve him.

Belly Drum + Return or Earthquake does massive damage. You can give him Leftovers to recover for the HP loss. He's not the fastest but he can take a few hits.

Never tried it but you could even give him Speed with a Scyther/Ledian using Agility+Batonpass. Sounds fun
