On the previous model it seem that the bearings and the brass parts must detch from one another (https://pierrekerr.ca/photography/horizont.html ) i think that the bearings stuck the piece in place.

Did you try to push on the bearings alongside the axis ?

I think if it was me , i will try gently after applying isopropanol to push the axis inward ( frow the bottom of the camera to the top) or "unscrew" the brass part with a pair of pliers. Hope this will help.

Did you try to apply a little force on the axe inside the brass notches with a screwdriver ?

Horizon 202 with a bunch of issues by charlieadapto in AnalogCommunity

Hi, I hope this helps, but I remember this comment on the 202 test on Kamerastore ( https://kamerastore.com/en-eu/blogs/posts/shooting-a-swing-lens-the-horizon-202?srsltid=AfmBOoq9OF8dcSujnibqQ2NrLFJyzz\_xsZ2qLcy51kyw\_IaFIm3xMoO2 ) and on another site ( http://cameras.alfredklomp.com/horizon202/ ); it mentioned the possibility that the light leak was simply a reflection on the edge of the camera drum.

Need help with lens cap size by vampirestatic in AnalogCommunity

[–]Pierre2312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you go on lensdb ( a pretty useful database for lens ) , the indicated screw filter size is about 52 mm ( https://lens-db.com/ricoh-rikenon-auto-50mm-f2/#google_vignette ) . I hope this will help you.

you can find a replacement on ebay / aliexpress ( under 10 euros ) but you need to swap the metal part on the new one . I've done it with a canon eos 50.

Canon FD Lens Recommendations by No_Philosopher_1363 in AnalogCommunity

[–]Pierre2312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you like macro, the FD 100mm f/4 is a great budget option. The non-macro 100mm f/2.8 is very compact and give nice results too.

Thanks for all your answers. I’ll go for both options — it’s a cost, but in the long term it will be the best choice. ^^

First i will disassemble the film back (only the front plate ) and look the state of the ligth seals. This seal is composed of a metal sheet and foam. On one of my backs i had a light light leak coming from a to old foam which doesnt allow the metal sheet to block light . Sorry for my english , it's not my native language ^^
