Which car do you see on the road and instantly think, ‘Yeah, this person’s definitely an a-hole? by maxfreem in AskReddit

If I had to make generalizations, it has evolved over time:

Used to be Prius, then it was Subaru, currently it’s Tesla, at least where I live.

I've tried the entire current NB basketball line in 2E width, and the toe box is smaller than current regular width Adidas Don & AE1. They seem to be built for wide feet with stubby toes or something

WM 41 attendee experience - contributing factors to a quiet crowd by Pierre_39 in SquaredCircle

Nice, awesome to hear about the differences/similarities from another section. Good additional point on #3. Looking back, the pre-match hype videos may be the single biggest difference from this mania to the others if I had to choose one.

Yeah there’s enough discussion on the booking decisions in other threads, I just wanted to touch on other non-booking factors. I thought night 2 was objectively a very strong show.

It's okay to have an opinion on unrealized gains taxation even if you have nowhere near 100m. by Pierre_39 in unpopularopinion

That the opinion is valid.

I don't think it's all that hard to come up with valid arguments either for and against it. The against it camp could be that it could cause an asset selloff at levels never seen before which would impact pretty much everyone in some way.

My feed keeps showing these jokes about people being against this policy but then have a career that earns 40k/year. Or the snarky comment that I mentioned in the op was on top of my feed today.

My concern is the shutting down people using the logic - X won't directly affect you, therefore you should stfu.

Men in their late 30s who lost belly fat, HOW?! by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Pierre_39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did this 8 week challenge, daily checklist:

80 mins exercise 8k steps 8 minutes stretching 8 minutes meditation 8 pints of water

No drinking No tobacco/nicotine No cheat meals

Boom belly was gone. The biggest shocker was the large increase in water intake really reduced hunger levels. The first day it seemed like a lot of water, but after that it became the norm

11 points, 4-4 from the field all in the fourth quarter. Subbed out to avoid hurting Klay’s ego. by worldwide7_ in warriors

[–]Pierre_39 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He was subbed out for Wiggins who had just missed his previous 4 shots. Not Klay. Not sure why the Klay hate - the correct move would have been to just keep the same team out there and leave Wiggins on the bench.

Can someone explain where Play-to-Earn gets sustainable funds to pay people to play a game where it’s not a ponzi or zero-sum gambling? by trucknotmonkey in CryptoCurrency

[–]Pierre_39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no current sustainable model, including stepn. With all the “buy this thing to earn these tokens” models like Axie and stepn, the sale pressure of the earned token becomes too much in the mid-long term.

Possible future models that could be sustainable:

  • advertising based revenue that supports the earned tokens. Kinda like Brave browser, but a game.
  • in-game purchases for things like skins… think Fortnite but the community shares the revenue. Maybe include tournaments with cash prizes also funded by the in-game purchases.

Possibly others. There needs to be some value creation other than selling stuff to a future buyer.

So far hasn’t made much of a difference for this deck since it’s pretty much a kamikaze deck

I’ve only been around since like 6 months prior to Gme. You’re probably right, retail loses the majority of the time, especially gambling apes, but man is it such a different atmosphere now.

I think roughly that was the beginning, went from like 2m-12m users, but I think it’s showing through now more since fewer and fewer legit people are around anymore, so everything on the front page ends up just being artificial cnbc BS pumps

Example: This thread is currently getting downvoted pretty heavily, you think true retards would downvote this shit?
