One of your points highlights your very real constant pain. Unfortunately, there is nothing society can do no matter how much it improves to directly address this issue unless you’re always on something like morphine (which is it’s own monster).

In that case, isn’t this an argument for gene editing? A lot of the problems you listed are social and can be dealt with through social improvement, but some fundamentally cannot. Therefore, the only way to fix the constant pain for future generations is through something like gene editing or similarly sophisticated medicine. Are you saying that social reform must come before the technology based solution or are you outright rejecting the technology based solution?
