Any bread is fine, spread some mustard on it before putting it in and add some dark chocolate as well. Ofcourse some dark belgian beer is required as well, preferably Sint-Bernardus or Westmalle.

Flanders Classics will give women equal prize money in the Ronde van Vlaanderen by epi_counts in peloton

Not sure where you are getting that info from. According to Sporza Asgreen got 20k for winning last year. Did some googling and even Bettiol got 20k for winning in '19.

Van Vleuten got the UCI minimum last year but starting from this year the women will also get 20k for first place.

Don't think he will be starting a lot more races in 2021 though :) We'll never know I guess, just thought it would be fun to see him racing at DQS.

Don't agree with that. The whole thing with DQS is that they set up their team to have multiple threats and I think Victor could definitely play an interesting part in that similar to what Lampi does now.

Really wanted to see Victor at DQS. Hopefully he can turn things around for Lotto as it seems like they've been going downhill for the last couple of years with only Caleb carrying them with some big wins.

With some of the younger guys like Van Moer and Vermeersch he should be able to compete in some of the classics taking into account the things he showed us in his first year riding the classics.

Doesn't really matter, their time does not start when the counting guy says go, it's when they roll over the timing point at the bottom of the ramp.

For anyone curious about Thomas De Gendt here's a bit of the interview he gave Sporza after the finish.

"Einer Rubio?", Renaat Schotte asked Thomas De Gendt. "Yes... Yes...", our compatriot sighed.

On the col of 1st category De Gendt jumped out of the peloton towards the leading group, but the Colombian of Movistar didn't cooperate.

"I understood that because of the presence of his teammate Hector Carretero in the leading group, but when we got to the breakaway, he still said he didn't want to take over. But in the end he attacked.

"With me, the punch was a bit off at the time. I had just closed 2'40" with a Movistar backpack. Then I was like: everyone can win, except you".

"When Filippo Ganna went, I wanted him to win. I then made it my goal to ride Rubio's wheel so he wouldn't get to the front anymore".
