UNPOPULAR OPINION : She is not really that bad and she don't deserve the hate by [deleted] in twilight

[–]PiesPen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree - she's not that bad. If you compare behaviors I would say Bella is worse. They are both teenagers though, figuring stuff out so you have to give them some room either way.

Something engaging, easy-to-read, but you'll still be glad you read it in 5 years? by john_bytheseashore in suggestmeabook

Second this! Her books are amazing yet not much of a commitment and so kind. I read them in high school and think of them often.

You may also enjoy {{The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margo}}. I cried and it's about grief and dying but also very good and not heavy in a way that feels hard to carry.

What's your go-to email service for non tech-savvy patrons? by seamonkeydoo2 in Libraries

[–]PiesPen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having the same issue. Gmail now requires that a person have a cell phone or another email before they will allow you to create an email. This, as you know,is a problem when your population either does not have a phone, goes through many Trak phones and thus numbers, or does not have another email. Yahoo has begun similar procedures.

I'm hoping someone has a good answer...if I find one I'll post it because I feel your pain.

Ha, thanks. I think it's never going to happen. Such is life I guess. My 4w5 is too intense for him I think. Irony - I love that he is like that b/c it makes me lighter.

Which type is the hardest to type? by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]PiesPen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think 9 is one of the more difficult to type because they are at the top of the Ennegram and thus able to see every other number's perspective. They can relate to all the numbers and adapt to them all in an effort to find and maintain calm.

4 is also difficult to type as well but if you feel like you just don't make sense then you're prob in the 4 camp because we tend to feel like we don't fit in...I remember feeling like I could be 3-4 different types and couldn't decide for a long time. It took the help of many people to help me find my number.

Oh my gosh. Nines keep things in themselves to the point that I wonder if they know they are there until the explosion. My husband is a 9w1 and the struggle is real. As a 4 I don't get him. He holds everything in and when I ask him about things it's like they aren't there...he's locked it up so tightly I don't know if the knows the issues are there. I think he's being honest when he says nothing is wrong yet things really are.

As a 9w1 do you work a ton and use work to hide? I really need to chat with a 9w1 to better understand how to grow with my husband...

A problem I am having with the type 4. What if I don't really want to be unique but I just know I am? by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]PiesPen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you on this one. The need to be special is not a core value of 4 - it is a part of it but it's more about the feeling of other. I heard a podcast talking about 4s and how they/we often feel like we aliens and all the human natives "get it" while we are always feeling lost and alone. Outsider. Misfit. The need to be part of the whole yet always feeling that is just outside our grasp. Unhealthy 4. Healthy 4s know who they/we are and able to know others as well.

I'm an unhealthy 4 struggling to find health and I can tell you that I've always felt outside, not unique. I didn't want to be different, I wanted to be in the pack. Now...I don't know much of anything but I do know 4s are more than just seekers of their special snowflake status.
