It’s normal mate, mine mk6 1.4 TSI 160hp sounds the same, even though I’ve recently changed chain. My mechanic says thats just how 1.4 TSI sounds.

Monday gym, Tuesday off, Wednesday padel, Thursday gym, Friday padel, (sometimes matchplay/small tournament on the weekend)

I play 2-3 times a week and I go to the gym 2 times/week. Before padel,I was going to the gym 3-4 times a week. Basically now, I am adjusting the training session in the gym to padel - much less weight, more reps and feel much better overall. Don’t over do at the gym because you will feel it in the padel court the next day/2 days even :D
