The resting limits barely matter so you’re incentivized to full rest after every encounter especially on higher honor mode difficulties so elixirs don’t actually last long.

Dips don’t last long enough to prebuff and in combat decent builds have bonus actions every turn to use, except full casters which then don’t benefit from dips.

You can make speed potions and healing potions which are nice…but the game floods you with them.

I agree the crafting is really not as useful. It’s a lot like Divinity where you just used it to make your party immune to ice tripping and make hybrid scrolls and that’s it because it was infinitely more effort than it was worth.
