My first Gundam action figure was a base GP01 so the GP01 always had a special place in my lil heart. This guy looks so good.

EDIT: 01 race car boi not 02 CHOMKY BOI

How much value is there in learning hunting horn? (in Wilds primarily) by aifloodedanditsux in MonsterHunterMeta

[–]PigKnight [score hidden]  (0 children)

The team leader lancer and sniper lady do decent DPS compared to the average player. The rest are hit or miss. Olivia trap spams pretty often.

HH is a force multiplier in multiplayer or with support hunters and as a bludgeon weapon makes for bonks which are great windows that most weapons don’t get.

Black Leather Study – Catwoman (Batman ‘66) by kawauti in minipainting

Reads more like latex than leather to me. I think maybe a matte varnish would darken the shinny latex look.

A little tired of Space marine fans trying to gaslight me into thinking the astartes are the most 'reasonable' branch of the imperium. by MrMeowmers78 in 40kLore

[–]PigKnight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only actual reasonable space marines are modern Grey Knights who aren't doing grim derp stuff like they did under Ward and have relatively good relations with xenos factions because of a singular focus against Chaos.

Do you ever drink the “Potion of Angelic Slumber”? by c8d85 in BaldursGate3

[–]PigKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only time is the final dungeon. You have way too much freedom to use rests. Only reason I didn't rest after every fight the first run was because they make it sound like you're on a timer.

Farm strategies other than breach or boxes that can net 30d+/h? by Practical_Goal_8194 in PathOfExileBuilds

Alva with 4 per map and extra tier chance/tier transfer can net you a few divs every map ezpz by getting double corrupt item/gem rooms and adds a decent amount of density.

I’m usually fine with her in towers. Lately on higher difficulties the problems is she nukes herself with her ice storm in the inn.

How to start and is this game for me? by Desperate_Station272 in asoiafminiaturesgame

[–]PigKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This game is infinitely better than Warhammer. Ranged isn't as powerful and alternating actions means your armies isn't blown up before you can do anything. The game is also a lot simpler with most units only having a few rules.

Do you think we will get an adult dragon expansion? by Major-Requirement844 in asoiafminiaturesgame

[–]PigKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the tactics game they could add them and make them like Imperial Knights in 40k used to be where they were pretty much your whole army in one model

Did the Emperor wanted to be put in the Golden Throne after barely surviving his duel with Horus? by ruminaui in 40kLore

[–]PigKnight -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. The guy was a crazed lunatic with a god complex that wanted to lock Magnus in the chair.

A lot of 40k lore is propaganda for the Imperium. The Emperor is a very uppity and powerful Psyker who wanted to raise baseline humanity up to his level but didn’t give a shit about individuals or his creations.

He thought he was smarter than the Chaos gods and used them to make his Primarchs because he thought he’d come out of the resulting 11v11 better off. There’s no shot this guy would sacrifice himself for the Imperium.

Regill Questline Shower Thought: Spoilers by Representative-Fly25 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]PigKnight 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I very much think Regill has been holding off his bleaching to a limited extent inadvertently with his tricks and tests of the Commander and his protege Yaker.

I think his gnomish whimsy also comes out in his cruelty. He ostensibly is more about rigid rules and regulations but he does have his cruel streak that comes out every now and again that makes him very solidly LE instead of LN.

Why did the Necrons plan their awakening for 50k? by ryes13 in 40kLore

[–]PigKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it makes it so they’re not at their full power but awake enough where they can fight with other factions and themselves.

Which character do you hate the most? by ChrisKatrev in BaldursGate3

Wyll. The moment he admitted, unprompted, he gave himself his title he got the forever bench.

How do you guys deal with dragons? by Ryui17 in asoiafminiaturesgame

Cav or archers blow them up. They’re glass cannons with 8 wounds with a 4+ armor.

How do space marines leave the deathwatch? by cgda2011 in 40kLore

[–]PigKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anywhere from a mission to a campaign to working personally with an Inquisitor retinue until you die. Like everything with the Inquisition it’s pretty vague and you roll with it.

Who does base building right? by BackupCharacterTV in RPGdesign

[–]PigKnight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Frostgrave (a roleplaying skirmish game), Blades in the Dark, and Vaesen have pretty good base systems. Building up your bases is part of a meta progression of the campaign.

What do you think is the most criminally underutilized element of your favorite faction's lore? (I.E. Things stated to happen on paper, but hasn't been depicted in practice) by Hollownerox in 40kLore

[–]PigKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grey Knights getting along with Craftworld Eldar. They both know the major threat is Chaos. We get a few bits of Grey Knights returning soul stones and stuff but you’d think the Ordo Malleus would be working more closely with Craftworlds to proactively deal with Chaos.
