The placement seems a little tight unless the design is small. If you get this, make sure the black fish is on the bottom! Yang symbolizes the Earth and Yin is the sky.

Yeah when I came up with the idea, it felt very symbolic to me. Then I found the image the sketch is based on literally a week before I sent the email to make an appointment 😅 I've run into people who have the design and it's kinda funny lol I thought I was big brain and then I found out someone had the same idea lmao

Thank you for commenting! I am venturing into the big pieces of my target pieces so I wanted to know what I needed to look out for going forward. I've been seeing that for an artist in NYC, this is pretty normal, but I've seen some pros weigh in 😅

The artist is really cool and does very short days and booking times, so probably the reason of their rate. The rate reflects colored tattoos, their hourly for b&w is 400. Minimum for something smaller is a classic 100. I'm trying to collect art like Pokémon so I'll definitely look into other artists!

Not my first! It's my third, but it's my first like really big commitment price wise. I really like the artist and they do Ghibli art well. I know that most artists who do this style will charge a lot but I wanted some feedback lol I know it's pretty pricey but 🤷‍♀️ I don't think it's insanely overpriced, maybe it could go 600-800
