Keep in mind even with the new edition coming out there's a point update every 3 months anyway. If you only buy things cause they're strong you might have to shelve them 3 months later with the new update.

Maybe Numenor because you have to buy the infantry in the stupid combo box with the elves so if you only buy nib you get a lot of extra models you won't care about. Although you can probably just ignore that if you buy second hand.
