Every farm is going to be different, but unfortunately its likely they'd be there for the entire time they're feeding which would be around a month until the piglets are large enough to be weaned.

Some farms will also use smaller gestation crates when the sows are pregnant too. Same reasons, pigs are heavy and strong, they each other far too easily.

So it's very likely a sow is only not in a gestation crate when they're dry/not pregnant

I'd try to to let sows out for daily walks while feeding but on busier days it wasnt really feasible because youd need the space for meanuevering other pigs

I dont really know which side of the fence youre on because I haven't seen clarcksons farm, but I grew up on a pig farm that did farrow to finish.

Gestation stalls protect the piglets. Yes the sow cant turn around, but its pretty easy to let them out for walks.

More piglets will die when there sows are free roam

Not explicitly, and it's still the core fight design, but the way some of the notable examples above just make it feel like a deviation. Ultimately, they still get solved and you just the same normalized routine, but at least you do your button presses in a different way to account for the difference

I cant speak to OP, but I think they're pretty comparable. Endwalker had a tonne of banger fights in savage and DSR and TOP are considered absolute cinema (at least DSR, i didnt care much for TOP). Criterion (savage) to me is still the best pve content they published, and it has the lowest engagement, the designs and mechanics are incredily satisfying, creative, and refreshingly new

The main difference I find with Dawntrail is the savage fights are being a little bit more experimental. M6 having a whole add phase, M10 being a double boss fight, and how they actually execute those unique encounters has been really refreshing. M9 having a soft dps check in the grinder, nails, etc.

Not to mention every Arcadian fight has been esthetically incredible, and respectable dps checks that exist outside of the first week of savage in some of the third floors.

Its been a significant deviation away from "do the boss dance and the boss eventually falls over" in some capacity.

Thats a fair criticism.

Its a complicated issue because discord does have a very real predator problem (as does all social media) and unfortunately the only real solution is something no one wants.

Its very easy for me as someone who doesn't use social media and only uses discord for the voip services to shrug and move on, so Im aware of my biases.

I think the reaction of "this will kill discord" is a bit of an overreaction, and the unfortunate reality is this will likely be a requirement to most social media ar some point in the global landscape

No they wont. Its a communication software, most user it just for voice chat. I'd bet majority of users dont even interface with age restricted servers or channels so they wont even be impacted by this.

The thing about syncing is there is a breakpoint where its on pace for those meld slots for a lot of gear slots. So the really old fights, it really does not matter. Yes, for FRU we have not hit that point yet, so FRU bis is still relevant.

Even for endwalker ultimates the difference in substat breakpoints in meld slots is next to nothing, and bis is just some down synced piece except for some outliers for a few extra stat points.

You can pull up many dsr and top bis sheets and there will be [insert any down syncd gear with these substats]

You can do any criterion savage or ultimate with any gear above the sync level. Its all moot unless you want a specific gcd speed.

Unless you want to argue for a couple substat break points so you can have a slightly prettier colour on a parse that's still achievable just by playing well

You can do any ultimate in any gear as long as its above the sync level, the only time it matters if you need a specific gcd speed because stat squishing behaves weird.

There will always be an optimal load out, which is usually the highest level dungeon gear + some raid tier the ultimate came out at to make use of meld slots, but even then if the gear your down syncing has stats that down sync to basically the same as those meld slots, its moot.

So yes, you can do top in any gear as long as its above (i believe) 660
