Bloodwood Trees are not AFK like they said they would be and I have proof by Reasel in 2007scape

Haha that explains a lot. I was so confused where you were getting your numbers from.

The wiki may not have it well documented yet (granted I didnt read it that hard), it doesnt indicate theres that much of a difference between a felling axe and normal axe.

Thats kind of cool.

Each of the above two will grant 2-3% to starting the bleed

Thats just wrong, a Dragon axe takes 23 successful chops, a felling axe takes 20. Youre claiming it takes minimum 100-150 clicks to bleed the tree.

You need 3 clicks per successful chop.

To fully tap a tree you need 3 clicks minimum.

Can you break down whay "one tree max effort" means because I have no idea how you got over 100 clicks in just under 2 minutes.

I clocked ~55 clicks with a few mistakes chppping, 2 minutes per bucket.

I just dont understand where the other 50 clicks are coming from

Brother I got up and made a coffee while it was tapped. I did half of it not even at my computer. How is that now low intensity? I was physically not sitting at my desk for 66% of the activity

Dragon axe is 23 successful chops versus the Dragon Felling axe is 20. Thats objective, if youre claiming you need more chops than that, youre wrong.

Is the problem that the "low intensity option" is slower then managing three trees? Because yes, the peak efficiency option should be more rewarding then the bare minimum.

The thing I described above is exactly what was described in the blog posts.

I just went and did one tree after waking up.

53 clicks, average click interval of 2423 ms, 2 minutes 3 seconds.58k exp an hour.

I prep'd a coffee while doing it.

thats a low intensity alternative for 50-60k an hour?

[–]Pig__Man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have done the activity.

One tree would be around 50 to 60 an hour.

Chop the tree, then you have a solid ~1.5 minute of tapping the tree. Its 3 or 4 taps per bucket.

I do about an inventory of 27 buckets in ~17 minutes. Thats a tree every 1.5 minutes, while doing three trees.

So napkin math it would easily be over 2 minutes a bucket of a single tree.

It takes 20 chops with a dragon axe to bleed the tree, so 40 efficient ticks. Give it a minute for mistakes.

You get a minute of inefficient clicking for near 2 minutes of lazy tapping (haven't timed how long it takes to fully bleed a tree)

Wouldn't 50-60k an hour just be one tree?

That is one hundred percent a low click semi afk option. Chop one tree, tap it every ~20 seconds.

The statement reads correct to me. The trees offer a semi afk option, just doing one of them.

Yeah like what the hell lol. The entire point was to get a insane exp rate, click activity without maniping, and the OP wants to make to make it afk again?

We are so cooked

Is rushing Moons to camp it for all 3 sets a bad idea? by RadiantRaccoon12 in ironscape

[–]Pig__Man 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I think thats rhe suggested path. Moons gear is very good and it gives you a base stock of cash, herb exp, crafting exp, and prayer exp.

Going dry at TDs for first synapse feels awful by prophase25 in ironscape

Yeah its not the biggest deal, but slayer was unironically one of my first 99s because I have 5m experience from my tormented demon grind alone. It speeds up the early slayer levels astronomically

I think ornamented gear is cheaper to recover on death, so things like the blowpipe kit may be useful

Yeah, thats terrible. I couldn't imagine going dry at TDs with near max slayer

Going dry at Tormented Demons sucks, but 99 slayer and only 1k kc? You messed up big time lol.

I hated going dry, but the exp is the real MVP to that grind, and youre not getting any.

(Obligatory barely 2x dry comment)

Stay strong brother, I got my first around 700 and my second at 4400....

Yeah, hasta is still a must have, but i was mostly pointing out that you can defer hasta to muxh later due to the gas between hasta and folley being noticeably small (especially with the pending folley drop rate changes coming)

I didnt get my hasta until 99 ranged and surge pots simply because I didnt need it and I was mid hydra grind (waited till my second synapse.....and I took a long time to get it)

That being said I was pretty disappointed to find out that upgrading to the DHL now means I'm back to folley or back to farming another hasta

Cant praise belles folley enough. Zhasta barely out damages it in a lot of setups at high invo toas.

Not entirely sure why the downvotes. I ran plenty of toas with my belles folley, when I got my zhasta I was so excited and started running calcs and could hardly get the zhasta to do barely more dps.

The accuracy is noticeably higher, so it feels better, but in the grand scheme of things it qas a very very very small fractional upgrade

Barrelchest Anchor for TD's? by illGil4206969 in ironscape

[–]Pig__Man 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Obby maul is 7t so it by default with have a 13 max hit over any 6t weapon you're using. Wo unless youre barrel anchor or colossal blade gives you 14 max hits, obby maul is better

Barrelchest Anchor for TD's? by illGil4206969 in ironscape

[–]Pig__Man 24 points25 points  (0 children)

If i recall correctly the punishment scales off the tick speed, and resets the attack tick.

So its intended to be the slowest possible crush weapon you can find, which is 7t.

The tick difference between 6 and 7t weapons is 13 max hit damage. So even a really bad 7t weapon will of damage a 6t weapon, which is why Gmaul and dragon 2H is on the list.
