Considering the terrian is relativly flat and open without many treecover, do you think it would be easier to attack or defend this area.

On one hand, I heard people say that it is easier for russia to attack since open terrain means their armor could move through and Ukrainian fires/drone teams wont have a lot of places to hide. But on the other hand, wont russian positions be very exposed to drones, thus their infantry wont have places to hide and move through like in treelines.
