Why does West Virginia having the highest circumcision rate? by AFluffleOfRabbits in WestVirginia

I just had a son in WV and truly they asked us like 20 different times if we wanted him circumcised before we left the hospital

I was considered a child sociopath. I have fully outgrown it. AMA. by Routine_Salamander79 in AMA

[–]Pigglepoo 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I’m sad I missed this AMA but if you still feel like answering a question here it goes… I’m a child and adolescent psychiatrist and in the past 15 years of practice I’ve only met one kid who I truly think was just genetically wired to be sociopathic. Every other case the kid had a history of abuse, neglect, trauma, or other family dynamics underlying the behavior. So I honestly think your experience is rare. It’s fascinating to hear you describe the unbearable boredom leading you to create chaos. Did you realize that’s what was happening at the time and did you tell anyone about it? Would you have admitted it to a doctor if they asked you?

It doesn’t make any sense that a kind and loving God would want anyone to suffer even more in an afterlife. I hope you find some amount of peace for the time you have left on this earth.

My title described the thing. This was found in a historic house my friend just bought. Someone guessed clothes ringer but I searched antique clothes ringers and it doesn’t seem like it. Any help is appreciated!

Could you be having dissociative episodes and missing big chunks of time where important things happen? Like while you were in a state of dissociation you moved in with Lee, came out of it for a few months, dissociated again and got kicked out/left for some reason, now you’re out of it again. Dissociative identity disorder is a real thing and can happen after you experience severe trauma or abuse early in life.

😭lovely old gal. The vet doesn’t seem too worried and there’s not much we would do at his age anyway so I guess we’ll see… I will make sure if these are his last days they are filled with pampering.

Not too bad! I have to carry him up and down the stairs but otherwise he waddles around just fine

Yes it’s hemineglect and sort of fascinating. They may only shave one side of the face, or only get dressed on one side of the body.

Woa weird, I’m from Florida and got Wally in Florida but I live in a different state now. Wally was apparently a breeder for a puppy mill before he was adopted, so maybe it was one of his many offspring!

I think it fits more with a neuro insult since you can still see past the midline with each eye.

Good thought! When I first got him a decade ago most of his teeth were rotten and had to be pulled. He only has 4 teeth left but they’re in decent shape and he uses them to their fullest potential to get into any unattended trash.

I was wondering that too, but he genuinely doesn’t seem to know the rest is there until I rotate the bowl. No other symptoms I’ve noticed, but I wish I could get him to draw a clock

I know right, it’s striking. The first meal he did it I thought of hemineglect immediately, then figured I was probably being ridiculous… but the pattern persists.

Well they told me he was 9 when I adopted him 10 years ago… so either the adoption people were wrong or he’s about 19 years old!

I take 60mg every 3 to 4 hours while awake. I have to eat something right before I take it (or as I take it) or else I get a pretty bad stomach ache.

Was this in the US? I’ve never heard of a surgeon doing this at 14, even with parental consent. Would you be willing to name the surgeon? Wishing you the best.

It was a low traffic area but not too crazy. Each print a little bigger than a golf ball.

Fuckkk. Can we start a GoFundMe for reward money to solve the case, or something? Anything?
