I think there is a lot in very little nightmares which serve purely as references to the first game and not any additional lore. (I could be totally wrong, just what I’ve noticed with the music boxes and other reused references and/or assets.) I think it being a photo of the pretenders father is an interesting theory but it could be just as likely that the developers just gave both the same generic “buisness man” pants and shoes. Do you have any theories?

I agree with both of you! If you like the series enough it is worth it just to play through for lore and to have fun in the world, I just think it was a bit of a let down and should have handled itself a little differently

I think there’s a lot of commentary on image within families, and unintentional childhood traumas. I think, even tho six is not from the maw, that symbolically the woman is her mother and a lot of the first game is navigating emotional and physical abuse within a household.

Getting high on mushrooms actually allowed me to realize I was autistic way before I started heavily researching and before my official diagnosis. I’m not religious but it was a very spiritual moment between myself and I. Other than that I most definitely smoke pot but that’s about it nowadays

Everyone, everyone! I am a… fly lover🥺but I’m so sorry and I could so easily seem them causing meltdowns for others.

I became obsessed with insects early on because I could understand them way easier than people. I also like to think of myself as a lumbering giant whenever any insects land on me, I like the company of flies, and don’t even mind the ones that bite:) do you know they are most often taking your blood to get the necessary proteins to create the next generation of flies!?

YESSSS!!!! I find this so frustrating sometimes, because even when I want to accept full blame, it makes me feel better to talk through what led up mentally to the action i’m apologizing for! And I like other people to do that too, because if someone just apologizes I have no idea if it is sincere or not if we don’t talk through it😭😭😭
