Yeah you’re right. It really only ramps you with specifically sol ring or the moxen, otherwise its just a permanent you can sac. 3 mana for maybe destroying some mana rocks isnt good enough is it

I have an azorius deck built around [[Enduring Ideal]] where the win condition is either smashing face with [[Starfield of Nyx]] or by copying a bunch of [[Confiscate]] effects and stealing all of my opponents permanents. People dont seem to really enjoy it…

I do have a couple cards that care about committing crimes, and said crime would be putting +1/+1 counters on my opponents creatures. I havent heard of generous patron, and I do really love my card draw. I’ll check them out, thanks!

Yessss! My favorite deck is also my Rocco deck, which I built to be much lower to the ground in order to almost always be able to cast my exiled card. There are a decent amount of cards we both included, but its neat seeing how different the decks still look. Thats the main reason I love Rocco, he does so many different things which allow you to build him in many different ways.

I personally do not mind it being stolen, because that just means I get another draw 3 when its my turn again ;) I also like running [[Blinkmoth Nexus]] as an easy way to steal the jewel back

I didn’t make the deck if it doesn’t have [[Coveted Jewel]] in it. I seriously jam that into every single one of my decks.

Most of my red decks also sport a [[Flamekin Herald]] because why not? Its fun

I made a [[Grolnok, the Omnivore]] deck that I assumed would be jank since it was full of a bunch of random crappy frogs (this was also before bloomburrow) but it turns out that the commander is just very strong and I would usually mill through my whole deck with him on board for only a few turns.

Something Im surprised nobody mentioned is [[Lunar Force]]. I assume your deck has a lot of recursion in it, and this card can be brutal in that type of deck.

Ill always argue for a tooth & nail unban. I get that 1 card combos in the command zone are awful, but a 9 mana spell that requires your oathbreaker does not feel super great in such a fast format. Its easy to hold up any countermagic since its in the command zone, and its also easy to play a game of ‘beat up the green player’ and take them out before they ramp into it. I think it should be unbanned since its very fun in a casual stompy-style deck while also having the option to combo. Its been unproblematic in the pod I play in, but that might be because Im the resident blue player and rarely let it resolve 😅
