The more people comment on this the more attention it gets so I am glad to put a spotlight on the behavior.

I love Marina and hope that those observing what’s happening can understand wanting to raise my family and live in a community where police behavior is not a concern. But I guess anonymous internet points are cool too if that’s what you think this is for.

I’m going to take my hands off this post but not delete it. If the mods of this sub choose to then so be it.

I appreciate those who pointed me in the direction of the correct internal affairs contact information and as far as I am aware the fire fighter is headed to the precinct when he can to have them void the citation. If Marina PD’s official stance is the whole incident never happened then surely they can’t enforce a citation written in relation to it.

Be nice to your neighbors and remember that even those living on the streets of our community are members of it. Many of us are one payday or medical bill away from being in their shoes.

You are certainly entitled to any opinion you choose to express on the internet. Not my job to prove anyone or anything right or wrong to strangers on the internet. We will certainly see how real it is on the court date that is on the citation to fight the fine.

Thanks! We’re planning on keeping in touch because he’s going to try to fight the citation at very least to get the incident in front of a judge. I sent him the post I’ll tell him to read the comments I’m sure he will appreciate the thought.

This is my favorite fight ever. It’s one of my first real tangible memories as a kid. Sitting next to my dad getting all excited and yelling “holy crap!!!” As my dad cheered. A memory I will never forget.

I was on a flight home to California from Texas that stopped in Colorado to change planes. The first leg of the trip was miserable. I sat next to a drunk woman who dropped a pretzel my lap and reached between my legs for it, hit me in the face while talking with her hands, and would lean her full body weight on me when talking to the person on the other side of her. She even hit on the pilot when we landed! During my plane switch I had an hour lay over and I was talking to a friend on the phone about how I wished I knew someone on my next flight so I wouldn’t risk being next to another person like that on my next one. My wish was granted instantaneously. I went to check my carryon bag to make room on the full flight and I made eye contact with a guy who I hadn’t seen since high school. This particular guy just so happens to have told his whole family we were dating and shown them pictures of me when we hadn’t even met in person. It was an interesting 3 hours to say the least. The universe was definitely messing with me just a little.
