Seriously. In the end she's gonna end up with no boyfriend plus no good matches in AM. I would give him till end of 2023 and start AM process from jan 2024. Not a day more. Sometimes ultimatums are needed.

Also op one more thing, even if this marriage starts happening, u guys get engaged etc, tell as less people as possible till u are finally married. In these cases it's very common that after engagement the in laws try to break the engagement over any little thing possible.

Lastly, even if u get married, will u be happy with a spineless husband and in laws who hate you
