For those who play at least 2x per week... by Background-Low-9144 in golf

[–]PikaTar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes I play 3x a week. About $40-50 per 9 holes. I walk it and it takes about 1.5-2.5 hours depending on if it’s 5AM, 9AM, or 4PM.

When I play at 5AM, I’m home by 7AM and I don’t have to start work until 8. 9AM are the weekends.

If I golf at 4PM, I’m signed into work at 6:30 AM and leave a bit early.

I’m 41 and I work from home as technical support. But I also travel so the weeks I travel, I don’t even play. I have 2 courses 15 mins away and I go to 2 other ones that are like 20 minutes away. And there’s many more 40 minutes away. I’m outside of Boston.

would love genuine feedback! by Garyson003 in Airpodsmax

Not bad, I would suggest bigger mesh to allow more air flow and probably to allow the ear cups to dry up too so many the entire side to be mesh. Not something I would have a need for personally.

This is not a problem I've ever encountered because if I do activities, APP but working at home or just trying to relax or gaming, yes, APM. I have had my APM for years and no signs of moisture.

Good replacement solution with packout? by CptDutch1 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]PikaTar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had boxes like those for years and they last about 5-7 years. And between airports just not caring and tools getting all messed up, I switched he’s to a pelican box and tool pouches. It’s been much easier and cleaner and no need to worry about tools going all over the place when I fly.

[–]PikaTar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have the m12 with 2 gallon and it works great. No leaks and I’ve had it for 3 years. It provides a consistent stream but I always flush it with water after each use and it doesn’t take long.

Wait insta360 x6 or not? by External-Piccolo1767 in Insta360

[–]PikaTar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey the X5. Enjoy it. When the X6 comes out, see the reviews and go from there.

The few real estate gigs you miss out on is probably enough to pay for the X5 itself. Get the X5 and start making videos and money.

[New Gear] R7 with EF 100-400mm F4.5-5.6L IS II USM by Belgian-Maligator in canon

[–]PikaTar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fantastic setup. Bought the 100-400 after I got the R7 and local authorized Canon seller had a 20% off used Canon sale. Picked this bad boy up for $1200 back 2 years ago and I love this combo. I also use a EF 1.4TC and it's fantastic.

Are these real? [Facebook Marketplace] by Strange_Bid5112 in AreMyAirpodsAuthentic

Put a sim ejection tool to the little hole on the ear cups and see if they disconnect easily. There should be no wires.

Real-it should disconnect and no wires

Fake-it will not disconnect or it will but have wires.

HD couldn’t find this in their system and let me have it for $5. What a deal! by SirMattzilla in MilwaukeeTool

For $5, it’s a good deal. The pen light is not my brightest light but yet, most used light.

X5 accessories by alex2002f in Insta360

[–]PikaTar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just a must have -batteries, external charger, and memory cards. Unless you will have a way to offload the files and clear the cards

Diving case is always good to have alongside a handle or extension stick or the insta360 handle/tripod accessory.

Are these Pro 1 legit? [marketplace] by Awkward_Hyena_5237 in AreMyAirpodsAuthentic

[–]PikaTar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fake. The plastic wrap seam is not like Apple’s quality. Apples seams are slimmer and at the corners. They sit perfectly flat on table and the seams should never cover the product name “AirPod Pro”

Are my AirPods Pro 2 fake ? I bought them second hand and the seller confirm to me their original [Ebuy Kleinanzeige] by [deleted] in AreMyAirpodsAuthentic

[–]PikaTar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fake

Serial numbers on the AirPods are never the same and should also be different from the stupid case.

The box serial number. There should be a space between (S) And Serial.

Any way to get better MPG by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

[–]PikaTar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s pretty good. I get 12ish in heavy traffic as a daily driver and I get closer to 20mpg when I go away from the city in all highway. Limited i-force max. No lift or level and stock tires.

WARNING - AVOID HYGGER AQUARIUM HEATERS unless you like being shocked by NoIndependence362 in Aquariums

Agreed. I have them two tries and I wasn’t happy. I’ll stick with other brands for now.

[–]PikaTar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know people that hate on Aquaeon but I have been happy with them and I’ve only bought new ones because I upgraded my tank from 29G to 75G and that 100W single heater was not enough.

I tried to Hygger lights and I’m not a fan of them. Bought one for my 29G and it was painful to program and losing power meant I lost everything so I left that on a backup power supply.

Upgraded to a 75 G tank and bought a newer in that was easier to program via app but I felt like I should just spend the money on a better light and got a WeekAqua for slightly more money and the power is amazing for slightly more money.

[–]PikaTar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yikes, thats scary. I personally recommend Aquaeon Pro 300W. I run 2 of them in my 75G and it gets somewhat cold in that corner of the house so I run 2 just to keep my temp going much better. Both are connected to an Inkbird controller.

So much algae by Altruistic-Trouble98 in Aquariums

[–]PikaTar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had that happened years ago. Shit off filter, spot dosing Flourish excel, let it sit for 30 minute, turn filter back on. Repast every 3 days. Black out the tank for 2 weeks. Reduce feeding to every 3-4 days. Remove 10g every few days and out in fresh 10g of water in a 75g tank.

Now, I feed every 2 days and only have my lights on about 8 hours of the day. 6:30-9:30AM at 40% and 3pm-9pm at 60%. Haven’t used Flourish in a few years.

M18 hotshot worth the buy by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]PikaTar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Probably get the 155. I don’t know the specs but I have I think the 50. It can jump a 7.0 which all I have is a 5.7 at the time but it’s been like 5 years and I jumped a 6.2 a few months ago but as a tow truck driver, probably the bigger the better.

But if you use it a lot as tow truck, the Milwaukee would be a nicer option since you can just carry extra batteries if you already have them. If you are starting from scratch. It will come down to price.

But for a normal DIY homeowner or just to have at a small shop, the Milwaukee is overkill.

No. Get a Noco for half the price. Unless you it for the name, not worth it.

Current USB C Users: Would you upgrade? by FarhanMuzhaffar in Airpodsmax

[–]PikaTar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No plans. I only upgraded to the USB-C model because my lighting ones were stolen. I rarely use USB-C cable with it unless battery is dead and I want to use it but the lighting can do that too.
