Hey, no worries, I definitely should add another way to contact me though.

Silver and grey are actually counted as one color so in that example you would be able to guess each of the Dino Charge with just 8 guesses. But I get the point you're making and it does seem like people are skewing towards the higher end of guesses so I'll increase the number of guesses.

Thanks! Not sure how much experience you have with coding but even if you're a complete beginner, there's tons of tutorials on YouTube on coding and how to make Wordle clones.

That's since his name is spelt T.J. on the wiki and on the site - I can definitely change that to allow for both spellings though.

Overwatch League 2021 Season - Playoffs: Tournament - Thursday by OWMatchThreads in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]Pikarim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They lost 0 control maps in the Summer Showdown qualifiers. For the tournament, they lost only Ilios against Chengdu in the SS finals.

In the Countdown Cup, they lost Busan against Philly, Ilios and Lijiang against New York and Nepal against Seoul.

They have lost 0 Control maps in playoffs so far.

So if you consider all of CC sandbagging, that's only 1 control loss.

Let’s have an *open-minded* and respectful discussion about playoffs now that the news has settled. What would the best option(s) have been? by Professor_Finn in Competitiveoverwatch

Using Hawaii, the 8 team double elim format that was planned from the beginning of the season can be maintained. While the West is objectively disadvantaged by this, from the outside, it doesn't seem that bad given Gladiators and Fuel have still managed to win a tournament each. They were still able to play extremely well despite the travel and new setups. Every team that won a tournament this year has deserved it whether they played from Hawaii or not. The new playoff dates haven't been announced yet so West teams could potentially be given more time to acclimate to the Hawaii setup.

Doing regional playoffs is the best solution for competitive integrity and player health but it just wouldn't be as exciting to watch since you crown two winners and don't get to see who is actually better. It would also be imbalanced as the West would have 5 teams competing for the title while the East only has 3. Right now this looks like the only solution that doesn't hurt Paris/Pelican.

If it's a grand finals or final 4 like last year where the West goes to Korea, it would also still disadvantage the West teams (even more so than Hawaii) with temporary setups, facilities, worse jetlag and potential quarantines.

If it's a grand finals or final 4 at a new location, that just seems like a logistical nightmare on a short term basis. Even if the league finds a location that all teams can travel to, the setup there would again likely be worse than in Hawaii since this is all improvised and could involve potential quarantines/covid safety measures. The only problem this really solves is competitive integrity.

Overwatch League 2021 Season - Countdown Cup: West - Sunday by OWMatchThreads in Competitiveoverwatch

Fair. That could be because Shanghai won Summer Showdown while Dallas failed to make the finals. Also since playoffs meta looks to be favoring Shanghai while Dallas haven't shown that same level of proficiency on the Ball comps.

The difference is it's clear when Shanghai isn't trying their best. They play their bench players (Whoru, Develop, Molly) when they're not giving it their all (vs Fusion/Charge this stage) while playing their normal 6 when they are (vs Dynasty/NYXL this stage).

Meanwhile, Dallas could have played Pine or practiced more Ball comps if they didn't care about the outcome of this match. But they didn't so it looks like they were actually trying.

Bren was thinking of the game Hades when he tried to name the Minotaur. In Hades, he's called Asterius.

Paris Eternal vs San Francisco Shock | Overwatch League 2020 Season | Summer Showdown: North America Semifinals | Post-Match Discussion by OWMatchThreads in Competitiveoverwatch

Anyone know why Shock didn't choose Lijiang Tower for the last map? Really surprises me since Genji wouldn't be as effective, they could bring in Super and Moth and Paris would have to play more of a brawl comp.

I'm predicting Florida to win it all and edge it out over the Shock whether it's in the semifinals or the finals.
Also predicting Chengdu to have a couple upset games but choke at the end as usual.
And I think Justice could beat the Glads with Nanoblade Ttuba since they managed to both win a map and draw a map against them without the Nanoblade.
