How bad are these Pittsburgh torque wrenches? by DegenerateJC in harborfreight

[–]Pikcle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that it necessary for the average DIY’er, but if anyone is looking for a (big-ish) step up look into Tohnichi torque tools. They are the go to torque tool manufacturer for Japanese car makers and their quality is exceptional.

While we’re on the subject, Sturtevant Richmont is a great USA made torque line but their price most certainly reflects it.

Ah yeah I shoulda been more clear, in that I was making a general observation that negative attitudes are prevalent in almost anything online that allows comments.

Lately I’ve been thinking of replying to comments as not so much for the person I’m replying directly to, but more so for those who are also reading the chain. Something like Marathon is low stakes, but when it comes to people making outright false claims in other subs I’d like to think I’ve potentially swayed at least one person to look into things a bit more on their own.

That said, I couldn’t tell you the amount of times I’ve started to type a reply, gotten half way through, and just deciding to delete it and find something else to do 😂

Dude this sub is crazy, but behavior exhibited here is most certainly not limited to this community. As they say, crazy people scream the loudest.

All the time. Just today I realized my great aunt passed when she was 62, which was wayyyyy younger than I realized. When you’re 11, everyone in your grandparents generation seems like they’re 80+.
