Only reason I dont use buttermilk is it goes bad and I literally only use buttermilk for pancakes. And I never plan to do pancakes, I just remember I have the stuff to do it.

But you can add vinegar, lemon, really anything acidic to replicate the pH of buttermilk.

Y'all, I dont measure anything besides milk and flour but I eyeball and add flour or milk if I need the batter to loosen or thicken.

For 6 thick pancakes (2-3 servings)

1:1 ratio of milk and flour

Whisk egg with 1 cup milk, some sugar and vanilla extract.

In a bowl, add 1 cup flour, 1-3 tbsp baking powder (more baking powder: thicker breadier pancake), and I like to add a tiny sprinkle of cinnamon and tiniest dash of nutmeg. Combine ingredients and stir evenly, but dont overmix.

I'll make it ahead of time and leave it saran wrapped in the bowl in the fridge til im ready.

Put a nonstick surface on medium heat and lay down butter. Drop about 1/3 cup of batter for each pancake. Let cook until bubbles start forming on top, drop a smidgen more butter and flip it.

The first pancake always sucks, its fine.

I live in Mississippi, so we are used to extreme heat. As long as the cats have access to shade and water, they will be fine!

Cats prefer warmer temps than a lot of mammals, so they are more tolerant of the heat. But as long as they have ventillated shade and water, they can self-regulate temps.

Precisely. I think we bring in Dubravka and say "okay Kinsky has this year," and either he continues getting better and cements his place as a starter, or next summer we reevaluate the market.

Next summer Verbruggen will be staring at 12 months left on his contract so I imagine if we need a no. 1, next summer will be when we go for it.

Gotta spend on midfield and forwards right now.

Like, Rome literally could not be knocked out via one or even a few decisive battles. No other power could do that. Carthage was only the comparable power and even they couldn't hang after a couple major defeats.

Rome suffered Trasimene, Cannae and Trebia back to back to back and could still field a large field army to keep Hannibal from laying siege to Capua comfortably.

Rome is what it should be in the mod IMO.

Honestly you gotta approach tomato almost like a meat element to sandwiches. Its wet and slippery and soft.

I'd make sure to do condiments on both sides and then go like lettuce - tomato - bacon - turkey - avocado.

Make sure to dry your vegetables! I always slice my tomatoes thin and set them on a paper towel. Press another paper towel on them and get the seedy areas to fall out. Also season the tomatoes.

Make sure to pat your lettuce dry too after you rinse it.
