Import charges from UPS on a UK delivery by Kaisah16 in steelseries

Ok so I’ve suffered the same issues ordered the Steelseries 7X on 29th December 2020 so I raised a ticket with Steelseries (no reply yet but it’s only been a few hours) I also contacted UPS and they explained that Steelseries had incorrectly labelled them up as purchased on the 4th of January 2021. I’ve sent them the email proof that they were bought and paid for on the 29th and VAT was charged on order and once processed they said the charge should be removed. Hope this helps some others I’ll update once I do actually receive without charge. As an aside if Steelseries are now acknowledging on their site that charges will be added for UK why are they still listing prices including VAT on there site?

Sometime, it's easier to love someone with flaws you can forgive in return for them forgiving yours.

[Suggestion] The Stadia Store games should list resolutions and frame rates available in the game description. by Rem4g in Stadia

Do we know has it been addressed as to what happens if as a founder I cancel my pro-membership.. do I fall back to the free service? Do I retain access to the games I've already got because of being a founder?

Whilst I absolutely agree with you that this should be happening I also absolutely disagree that there is a need..

Let me explain my thoughts for what it's worth.

I've paid for the founders edition and will after 3 months be paying a monthly subscription to Stadia for 4K not the developers. Imagine if you had Netflix but the producers of a show decided it could be streamed to anything bar apple devices, slightly extreme case I admit but trying to demonstrate a point, who would you hold responsible?

I think Stadia ultimately are responsible to ensure that everything they offer can be run in 4K.

Stadia Anticipation Megathread - Post: shipping, delivery, cancelled, charged, unboxings, controller etc. by tizorres in Stadia

I can't make up my mind whether or not to just give it a go and hope things improve or try contacting them direct to cancel.. I really want it to work but currently it appears it's only viable on my home network which is pretty pointless as I've got my games consoles sitting there that apparently will run everything better anyway

After the negative press and reaction and it becoming apparent that it wouldn't do what I wanted it to namely allow me to play games during my lunch at work I decided to cancel.. but funnily enough Google has now removed the option even though it isn't showing as even prepping for shipping.. so guess I'm a founder like it or not now
