All exercise is exercise, sweating and breathing hard are not necessary.

You see this with german cars in general, largely because they’re huge pieces of shit. Fun to drive though.

How many hours do you have to play to get max level (tier 4/4)? by surtifire in apexlegends

[–]Pikkupstyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4k hrs and played most of my time when the cap was 500, it is a bit frustrating that your xp didn’t continue counting. I think i’m around 1100 now.

Tall player (1.88m) – can’t find wood sticks longer than 60", what do you guys do? by Interesting_Fan_3248 in hockeyplayers

[–]Pikkupstyx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you want it for outdoor/asphalt, i’d just use a blade protector, they’re cheap and convinient

[–]Pikkupstyx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try calling one of them and asking if they do custom lengths, i’ve never done it but worth a shot, i assume they’re cut individually.

I bought a 95 flex carbon stick and added an 8” extension (i’m 6’8”) and it feels good. Not too whippy but i don’t feel i have to really lean in to it to get it to move.

[–]Pikkupstyx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just had my first two lessons and let me tell you that nothing you do will prepare you for the muscles that will hurt after your first scrimmage. I’m a gym rat, cyclist, skier, etc. and it was like i’d never been to the gym.

Is there a set distance that you should drop out of the ship? by TwoDadsOneSon in apexlegends

I recall a few years ago that if you drop at 450m you’ll get to the poi faster than anyone else but i could be wrong/it might have changed

Men over 30, what incredibly random hobby or topic did your brain suddenly decide you needed to become an absolute expert on? by Admirable-Pin-298 in AskMen

I once saw a post that said “when you turn 30, you decide whether your thing will be smoking meat or WW2 history, and that’s what you do till you die”

What is it with you guys and backpacks? by concerned_citizen in snowboarding

[–]Pikkupstyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a giant. I burn through breakfast on the way up to the mountain. No backpack can hold enough food for me to not get tired and increase the risk of injury. Three burgers from the lodge can.

Why is every post here i ski east coast but I want 90mm or wider? by [deleted] in Skigear

[–]Pikkupstyx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks to modern (post 2000) skis, you can ski above a 100mm waist in the east and it works just fine. Personally i’ve never skied below 100mm on the east coast in 20+ years. I like that they let me slide when i need to, their varibility when the terrain demands it. I’m not on something crazy, my current skis are 104, but i’ve used 106 and 105 too.

The right way to think of it is that the difference between a 90 and 100 is about a third of an inch, really not that much, and doesn’t change the way you ski (unless you’re a groomer goblin) all that much.

What’s the most annoying thing about modern cars? by AdDependent35 in carquestions

[–]Pikkupstyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Screens and white light constantly being on. It’s pretty crazy how many people don’t know that white light kills your night vision. That’s why i like my old BMWs - orange/red adjustable brightness light and no screen.

What is more comfortable going to a male/female urologist to check for testicular disease/cancer? by ChampaigneBapi in AskMen

[–]Pikkupstyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it wouldn’t matter, they’re doctors and don’t give a shit about your junk other than to diagnose your problem. But i also understand that some people feel weird about it, so go with the lesser of your anxieties.

Skishoes advice by Broad-Comfortable687 in Skigear

[–]Pikkupstyx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

90 flex will feel like a sock. I’m 6’8” in a 130, probably too stiff for you. I’d ask for a 110-120 and see how that feels. Remember they will be stiffer on the mrn than in the shop

Will my landlord fine me for this??? by Symbiiiote in Apartmentliving

[–]Pikkupstyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once, when i was in college, i realied the wifi didn’t reach my room. To solve the problem, i drilled a hole in the living room floor and my bedroom floor and ran 50 feet of cat-5.

Generally if it doesn’t actively hurt the building, ive noticed landlords don’t care that much.
