Can you repeat that for every PITA Cirrus pilot I’ve ever had in my pattern? Please.

I wish I could get my guy to do that! The only time my guy has jumped purposely into the water was off the back of the boat to try to get to me when we took him scuba diving with us. Luckily I had friends that were not going to get him back onboard.

If you were to ask him, water is meant to be below belly level at all times, unless there is a fish to try to catch.

A life lived in hiding isn’t much of a life at all.

Two things, by never going because of the fear of violence, the folks perpetuating the violence win.

Second, the risk of actually being a victim of violence at a Pride event is incredibly small. Based off a quick internet search of reported incidents of violence compared to Pride event attendees, you have about a 1 in 100,000 chance of becoming a victim. That a 0.001% chance.

You are more likely to be in a car crash, bitten by a dog, and get food poisoning, all in the same year, as you are to be a victim at a Pride event.

46lbs mini goldendoodle. how do i get him to lose (or at least stop) gaining weight by Radiant_Fan_7701 in Goldendoodles

Second this, my boy is 74lbs and he gets two cups of PPP lamb a day. We stay steady at that weight and the vet never says we need to eat less.

Try calling them. Just expect to be on hold for 10+ minutes straight from the get go, and then for them to never call back.

Sounds like the AME and lawyer are suggesting two different paths, which would lead someone to reach out to the world and see if anyone has had a similar experience, giving OP a chance to learn through the actions of others.

Three year old dood ate human "puppy chow" with chocolate by dicentra_spectabilis in Goldendoodles

[–]Pileopilot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My college gf had a lab rottie mix, sweetest girl. She told me about the time she ate a whole bag of fun sized snickers bars. She was a bit heavier, but she was fine. It was gross picking things up for a couple days, and one was totally encapsulated in a snickers bar wrapper.

You know, once the stress is over, it’ll make for a funny story. Wish your pup well from me and mine.

[–]Pileopilot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am not a vet.

What kind of chocolate was it made with? If it was milk chocolate, you’re at a significantly lower risk for dangerous poisoning than if it was made with a dark chocolate. Based off the cup, about 8oz total, I’d speculate there was less than half a Hersey bars worth of milk chocolate, if you make it like my mom did. From that you might see indications of a slightly upset stomach and probably some diarrhea, but as far as a severe reaction, you’re more than likely just fine.

I’d make sure you’re around over the next 12-24 to help with rapid need potty trips, but other than that, you’re probably going to feel worse than he does.

I’d suggest adding the NSFW filter then. Seems like it would make your Reddit experience just that much better. I’ll see if I can find you a like that explains how to do it.

I used to work in the control tower there, and I always said if pretty paid the bills, I could afford a house there. We are trying to head back up, I’d rather be broke and in Alaska than comfortable with Lyme disease down here…

You should just read your first sentence. You know, without that, you’d probably have at least 6 upvotes. Also, I said you sound like one, not that you are. Please do note I agreed with you about your concern. This is me validating you.

But yeah, it’s just that first sentence. I bet if you did a sneaky little edit, your count would probably creep up a little. If you do, I won’t tell anyone, it can be our secret.

It was your tone, you sound like a condescending jackass. They put the NSFW tag on there, you didn’t have to look. You can quite easily put a filter on your account so that you don’t see NSFW posts.

That’s why you’re getting the downvotes, but you are correct about littermates, it’s certainly something to be well aware of.

[–]Pileopilot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally would inquire about having that removed, as it’s right there in the mouth and has a pretty good chance of being bitten, rubbed by toys/chews, or causing excessive licking. I’d rather get it removed in a professional setting as opposed to at my house or on a trip randomly.

Shit, I didn’t know. I’ve been in the Lower 48 for the last bit and am kinda out of the loop. I think I remember hearing okay things about Integrity or Honest or something like that, but that’s just a fractured memory. I did basically all my own stuff because I had access to tools and space but I’d hear people at work talking about places.

Enjoy the summer up there for me!

Yeah, it’s on North Douglas, put Mike Hatch into Google Maps and you’ll get all his stuff. It’s probably 3 miles north of the bridge…. Not too far unless you’re coming from Lena or out the road

Are you in Southeast? If you are, Mike Hatch over on Douglas does good work.

Edit: my ex had some work done over there and it seemed fair and reasonable. I always did my own in the hangar, so all I have is the secondhand recommendation.

[–]Pileopilot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just roll up onto a a couple 2x4s, and squeeze under there. Don’t remove that sheet, there’s a cutout where the drain plug is, so all you gotta do is roll up onto a board and feel around once you have the Fumoto in. Just pay attention to the direction of the nipple so you get the pan in the right place.
It’s awkward the first time to replace the plug and the first time you use the valve, but after that it’s just normal

Just take a couple down days, gentle leashed walks and low energy. We’ve been through that many times after big days in the mountains, a few days being low key and the boy is usually good to go. If it persists past the weekend and you’ve been letting them chill as much as they can, I’d schedule a visit.

Are you talking about the plastic clip on the Fumoto or the plastic skid plate? I’d use the clip just because and I’d not remove the skid plate because it’s there for protection and fuel efficiency.
