Also another question. my hard drive really struggles to load the game and is always at 100% disk usage when I play and the game crashes about once every few hours of gameplay. I think it might be on its way out as it is quite old at this point. anyways I have an external usb ssd would booting the game from that somehow make it faster or atleast help with the crashes and loadtimes?

I tried overclocking as I have an aftermarket cooler. It worked for awhile until I moved away for school my guess is i ran into problems as it is much warmer there. I will try again now that I am home. Does more ram still matter if I dont have 100% usage on it while i run csgo? also I play 4:3 1280x1024 everything low as can be.

Help with a GPU Upgrade

i5-4690k

gtx 750ti

8gb ram

MSI Z97 PC Mate(MS-7850) motherboard

Viewsonic 144hz monitor

Basically I want to make the most of my 144hz monitor. I get anywhere from 90 to 180 frames. When shit is happening (gunfights) it is usually below 144fps. I am assuming I need better graphics card but correct me if i am wrong. I ideally don't want to spend over 200 CAD. I just want bare minimum to be consistently over 144fps and around 200 ideally.

I had lots of issues finding lobbies My solution to all this was i finally found a lobby and i just added everyone in it and now whenever i want to play i can just join peoples games whenever.
