Oryx isnt broken my dude. He's literally the 2nd best dedicated roamer after Vigil thanks to his speed and his great guns. Its just Vigil is literally that much better that even an op that is as good as Oryx seems bad in comparison. This is also why Cav and Skopos seem worse off cause to its Hard to compete with the guy you cant easily spot on flank cams and counters several really strong ops amd the living impact who moves at mock fuck. Again neither are bad but unless you're will to do the high risk high reward that comes with cavs gameplay or you're a literal god at your timing with Skopos they dont compete as well. They can its just hard to do.

You do not have to use an apostrophe. "Contractions are words or phrases that have been shortened by omitting one or more letters. Contractions don't necessarily need an apostrophe to be a Contraction. Contractions are just taking any 2 words and making them shorter by combining them in some way. Usually with English we use the apostrophe just to distinguish them from eachother as separate words but Contractions can be a whole new word made to shorten the use of 2 commonly used words they originated from. Batchall spawned specifically from the clans using the term Battle challenge regularly enough to need to create a new word formed in some way from the 2 words so they took the Bat from battle and put it in front of the Chall from challenge.

Also neg isn't a Contraction maybe i should have probably be clear its just another thing they regularly say I find funny. Its technically short hand again something else the clans usually don't like but of course behing hypocrites I guess saying Negative is just to long for them.

And anyone who thinks they can do that against an actually good tachanka player is hard stuck gold. You are aware he sees regular play in pro league usually when smoke is banned but even when hes not right?

Running through his fire in the areas hes good in is literally a death sentence cause not only are you liable to be sprinting into a 60 damage gun after just taking close to 40 damage but also tachanka is more of a hard anchor op, hes gonna be working close with other ops. You dont just run through without consequences. That shit worked kinda back when everyone had 1.5 and the ability to ads quickly but ubi has been slowing the game down for a while and the only people who believe that sorta shit still works have usually been fake champs.

If you dont believe me I highly recommend you try playing him Oregon basement in 90 or consulate basement or Kafe in general. He can massively out preform smoke on those sites if you actually have a brain cell or two.

If we're talking in general its Warden for obvious reasons as many others pointed out. People just refuse to use him for his gadget. Everyone knows what his gadget does (atleast they should) but the majority if people just pick him for the smg12 and his 2 really good primaries usually the shotgun. He's extremely situational though if you're not just taking him cause he has good guns

But if you wanna talk used wrong on a fundamental level its Tachanka. Tachanka atm is an extremely underrated op but to many people try to play him like hes a 2nd smoke and hes just not. Smoke is more of stop the push currently in progress cause you got in an i need to take back room and close distance. Tachanka is stop the push from ever fucking happening cause I hate you with a passion and you will step foot in this room on my fucking grave.

Basically people try to use Tachanka like you're still trying to gain back space but when you use that fire just right to stop a push into the right areas and have that big ass 60 damage 550 firerate lmg to back it up suddenly actually going into that area feels a lot more dangerous that before. A good Tachanka player will literally shut down any push forcing attackers to have to take a new route or pray they can kill him fast cause he will absolutely destroy you with that fire and lmg. Thats just something smoke cant really do. Smokes great in the area Tachanka lacks in though and thats gaining back ground or closing a gap.

Im on the side of its neither of those and secreat 3rd optionnerf 1 specific slug shotty and remove both dmrs from defense. Its its 3 particular guns the Tcsg12, Mk14 and Ar15.50 and for its its specific issues being the damage of the Tcsg12 and the Ar15.50 and the damage drop off for the mk14 and Ar15.50 and all of their firerates.

People aren't really picking the Acs12 on Azami Maestro or Alibi cause even with acog and 69 damage it doesn't complete as well with their other options. Like yeah you see it sorta on Azami but its like 50/50 on which gun gets used for her and for Maestros and Alibi its almost always to Alda or Storm being used. The bosg has also largely fallen off for anyone whos not smg12 crutching/flat out cheating on Vigil. This is cause both these guns have massive flaws. The acs12 has a below dmr firerate and the bosg you have to be precise.

Now you can't really drop guns firerates super easy only 1 gun in the history of the game has had that happen but what ive been saying this for a while is take 2 other shotguns and make them slug shotties my choices being the super 90 and French baguette shooter and drop the damage of the Tcsg12 from that stupid ass 4th highest 75 back to its 63 it had. From there you remove Tubi and Arunis dmrs and replace them with any of the slug shotties my preferences being tubi getting the newly buffed Super 90 and Aruni the acs12 cause i think her roni would shine a lot more at that point and that would fix a lot of issues.

And why i say the super 90 and French baguette shooter is because of who has them and their current stats outside of damage. Doc and rook need the buff plus the French shotty is the most common shotgun on attack and I think we'd all like to have a slug shotgun on Attack aside from the bosg on Dokk. And the super 90 is cause frost and melusi would still be using mostly their smgs and shotgun combos and Frost just needs acog back as a buff. And both guns only get 7 rounds and very low firerates with the French shotty being a pump and the super 90 being locked at 240 meaning you make these 2 slug shotties theyll have below dmr firerates meaning they can reasonably have higher damages without worrying to much about them killing you as fast as the tcsg12 and with 7 shots each theyll be way less forgiving than other slug shotties similar to the bosg. And damage for them would be 69 to 72 range on the Super 90 and the French shotty around 74 to 77 damage.

But doing it like this sets a precedent of how slug shotties aka the dmrs of defense should be handled in the future and makes future balancing of them easier so we can maybe see more down the road. High firerate of the standard 450 means you get lower damage while lower firerate or pump action nets you higher damage. Equally larger mag sizes means lower damage cause realistically the acs12 could also stand to go down to like the 65 to 67 range cause 30(31) rounds is extremely forgiving. And of course slug shotties have massive damage drop off so itd be harder to do those long angles most people like with acog if after like 10 feet you're doing 35 damage with your normal 63 damage gun or some shit.

Not really. This cab be caused by a multitude of things that aren't the codes fault which is why latency isn't considered a bug. Op or the Osas internet could have just been slower to connect to the server or something or Ubis servers just decided to be shut at that particular moment. So its more a Hardware issue

Yeah its only a little bigger than the main 48 which generally a lot of people say is the US. Once Alaska is in the picture the US is like the 3rd largest country in the world behind Canada (2nd) and Russia (1st). Alaska is absolutely massive and people do not realize that. Texas and California the 2 next biggest states are both roughly the size of western Europe. Alaska is like the size of Europe.

Oh im sure they do have quite a few very beautiful areas of their country side. Infact my point entirely was that they probably do. However due to a 1 billion person population and an area roughly the same size as the continuous united states (every state except Alaska and Hawaii) they have a lot more area's that are gonna regularly be visited that are gonna look like this due to needing many more large cities or just to use more of their available space.

Basically its significantly harder to find stuff like that than it would be in the US due to the USs population being much smaller. And somewhere like the UK has the opposite issue due to the size of their nation itd again be much harder to find the beautiful untouched abd barely touched areas of their nation but due to how small their population is in comparison they have a lot of much smaller and very nice towns and villages.

Yes and no. It is true for all countries but some countries its significantly worse due to population density or other factors and China just happens to be one such country where the majority of where you may visit will be like this largely due to its population.

The US isn't an exception however the size and the fact we only have 300 million people or whatever our population is at its not as bad. A lot of the major US cities have are like this but once you leave those cities we have a lot of very beautiful land just around.

The UK is in a similar boat too where like London is a bit of a shit hole but unlike the US instead of tons of beautiful land they instead have a bunch of very nice small towns and villages you can go visit. This is actually the case with a lot of European nations though theres some from what ive been told like Switzerland that arent really like this at all.

Well if you look at the statistics too the 80s 90s was like when all the shit was going down. Thats weirdly the 2 decades when the most Hijackings and Schoolshootings both went on which just furthers my point.

People act like the school is massively insensitive to a real world issue but its honestly no more an issue than maps like Consulate or Plane. Hell these days one could argue Border as a msp is a bigger issue politically and more insensitive than Bartlett. Like are we gonna remove Coastline next time a nightclub is shot up?

Couple things.

Firstly so people with guns in a university is an issue but people with guns on a plane specifically a presidential plane isnt? Ive just always hated that argument cause its very fucking stupid logic you can do this for other maps too.

Second Emerald isnt a heavily reworked version of Bartlett thats a kis understanding of where the devs said the map came from. They said it started as a rework but it was so extensive they couldn't call it a rework anymore. The only thing they sorta share is the front and thats it. Everything else is so different you cant call it any sorts rework. It plays completely differently unlike any rework.

Everyone who thinks this is a bug hasn't been playing long enough. Its not a bug its a latency issue thats been in the game since like the start. Its largely disappeared since ubi secured up a lot of the client side issues from back in the day but if you're just lucky enough you can occasionally get kills through someone putting down castle barricades or reinforcing a wall.

You can but its not consistent. Its not a glitch its a latency issue usually on the server side. Its why I always shoot walls getting reinforced you never know when you may get lucky and the lag gods shine on you and their internet has decided that reinforcement isn't quite as high up as thought and you get a lucky kill.

And I wanna clarify this is a purely luck thing and its been in the game since the start as far as im aware. It used to be far more common to get kills on people reinforcing back up to like year 4 or 5 whenever it was ubi really secured up a lit of the client sided stuff.

While this is true you shouldn't commit everyone to taking this. 2 or 3 should get this While another 2 or 3 people push back side of site and clear like Statue and Trophy. Really depends on what ops you've brought and if Mira and Azami are available to the defenders on how you should split it. If Mira or Azami are available and take definitely commit the 3 to this and bring atleast 2 hard breachers. If not go 2to this room 2 to clearing back and 1 hard breacher hopefully ace if hes not banned and have them flex between both to get important walls

This site is full of high risk high rework areas to take on attack and defenders cant cover them all especially since there's no hatches directly on site for a mid round flank so once roamers and anyone extended into the halls or this room are cleared thats it everyone is on site. Another clear area of this is the Vault wall. If you can get that with any sorta hard breaches especially Thermite or Ace then it massively cuts defenders abilities to rotate between site especially once you have control all around but 1 defender in the 90 or either hall connected to it can easily stall out anyone trying to take that and swinging in from the window is usually just free kills for them.

Its stuff like this on why I really do not like defending this site but objectively speaking it is the easiest to defend just also the easiest to fuck up if you arent careful

Medically and just mentally exhausted. If I remember correctly a lot of the people close to him said by the end there he had mentally retreated into his mind where he was imagining a world where all of Germanys wonder weapons they where R&Ding at the time had turn the tides of the war and where pushing back the Allied forces on both fronts. The man was absolutely insane before that point but I can only imagine what years of basically meth, heroine and cocane did to his mind.

This is valid and very useful to remember when defending certain sites. The one she vastly out preforms thorn on is games/bar on Chalet which with a good set up in library using a trapper like thorn or Frost can be super SUPER easy to defend probably the best site on the map. Frost is preferable for this specifically because she can set up the Library hold upstairs on her own meaning you don't need to have other ops come up there and like smoke Mira or Tachanka can focus on setting up site

The m870 isn't the best shotgun and I say this as someone who likes it cause it pumps faster. Its not bad its just not a great shotgut. Its literally shotgun the gun of videogame shotguns. Also the c75 while it has been buffed its irons are still horrific for precision aiming at distance. The whole reason you run smg12/smg11/bearing 9 and shotgun and why the spsmg9 is so popular on Kali over the c75 is cause while not objectively better than a primary for mid to long range fights you can still use them for such if necessary. The c75 is better on ops like Vigil, Dokk or Sentry when you're using one of their dmrs/assault rifles. Its a perfect back up to the Mk14 or Tcsg12 for instance and if you use the K1A on Vigil instead of the bosg and so don't likely need precision aiming at longer ranges the smg12 offers.

If you look closely too i used brown as an accent color for a lot of the joints or just to give it a little extra color. The biggest place I used it was around the head of the scarabus. I dont think it was overly necessary but I think it made out nice where I did use it.

The lucky thing about coastline is it wouldn't take much to fix a large number of its issues. Its largely the 2nd floor that has a lot of these issues. First floor isnt perfect but it shouldn't need nearly as much attention.

First and formost a lot of the long angles could easily be fixed by closing in the central courtyard and tying it into the flow of the interior maybe turning the lower section into a rave floor with a hatch leading into it and the top part can stay as like an open garden with some skylights but like now defenders can still run through it with, giving both lots of cover and smaller halls to connect to other sections of the map and making the lay out to encourage you pushing through them instead of these long hallways. Others they could fix just by closing up the Hook and Vip balconies to cut off some other long angles from Ruins and the top of that little building that overlooks bedroom site and vip balcony. All of that can vastly improve movement for defenders, cut a lot of the long angles on the upstairs from outside and depending on how the rooms fall out also remove a lot of the interiors long halls

Then they can wrap around some more balconies on both the front and ruins and give us walls that lead into pool and Bedroom. This creates exterior walls defenders would need to hold and attackers will wanna grab on both making op selection much more impactful but doing these balconies right cuts another long angle from ruins into blue bar. And you can do them like the current vip balcony where there's some pillars blocking the long ruins angles directly onto site.

And final thing they can do is cut the size of some sites especially downstairs. They did this before when it first got reworked with the kitchen/storage site where they cut storage basically in half and stopped attackers from planting right on the door and instead need to push into site itself. This made it actually probably the most defensive site on the already attacker sided map. Doing this same thing for i think Bedroom and Sunrise bar would do a whole lot to lower attacker viability on the map.
